  9. Outside USA, the first gen of Subaru EJ Engines came with Carburetor + Disty Stock: More info & Parts Numbers Here: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101887&page=2 Kind Regards.
  10. As Far as I Know, the Difference on Higher or Lower Suspension depends on if the Car is 2WD or 4WD, because 2WD models' Struts got the Spring coil's Base on the Shock absorber, Welded two inches Below than the 4WD Shocks, both being the Same Size. Kind Regards.
  11. Also it could be that your Subie's engine Had the Two Belts and one of those just Snapped and Fell off without you noticing that... untill Now.
  12. You can see Pics and a Link about that Black Rotary RX on Post Nº 914 of This Thread: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53434&page=92 Kind Regards.
  13. Yes... Unless your EJ18 is Carbureted. do you Have Pictures to Post?
  14. There's another Way to Remove the Old Paint + all that Stuff: To use a Chemical Paint Remover... I Did it on my Whole Subie Wagon before Painting it Yellow. See in Example: http://www.tcpglobal.com/autobodydepot/paintremove.aspx No Problem with 60's... (As long as your Rims have the Proper Close-to-the-factory Offset) ...I Run my Weberized EA82 Wagon with 205/60 R15 Tires without Rubbin' issues. Kind Regards.
  15. I Agree... For Lift Kits, Some USMB members does them, I Kindly Suggest you to Check on the "Off-Road" Section. Kind Regards.
  16. Let me Tell you that the EA82 engined subies with Air Conditioner option, came in Two (2) Different Belts Array, Depending on which A/C unit they have. The Most Common model is the one with the Hitachi A/C Pump, in that case you'll see from Middle to Right: First the Power Steering Pump, then the A/C Pump and Finally the Alternator. Rare models have a Panasonic A/C Pump, in that case You'll See: First the Power Steering Pump, then the Alternator and Finally the A/C Pump. Both configs has Two Different Belts. I Kindly suggest you to Post here Pics of your Subie's Setup in order to Help you Better. You Might Upload the Pics to a Free Pics Hosting Website, Such as Photobucket, Flickr, Webshots, etc... and then Copy/Paste them Here, on a Post. Kind Regards.
  17. I've Just Posted Pics of a V8 Legacy and a V8 impreza, here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53434&page=93
  18. Here in my Country, some People does Headlamps' Swaps on their Subies, as the one you can see Below: But That Headlamps aren't Subaru for Sure. Kind Regards.
  19. Nice Idea! ... Will you Close the Opening around the SVX Headlamps?
  20. I've experienced a Suddenly "Zero Brake Pads" situation on my Wife's Kia, but that was caused due to the Extremly Cheap Brake pads the Previous Owner installed: Cheap Pads does not have the Part that makes the Metal-to-Metal Noise at the near-end of 'em. Maybe that's your Subie's Situation... or were those Original Subaru Brake Pads? I Kindly suggest you to Ask 'em to show you the Brake Pads, maybe those aren't totally Worn to be "Zero Brakes" as they said, but they want to Sell you New Pads + maybe the pads are Very Worn. Kind Regards.
  21. I Believe that the Owner is the one that Owns this Website: http://subarubrat.com/
