  1. As some People in USA Measures the Tire Sizes, those are 25" Could I Ask Which size is the Bigger ones unlifted Subies can Handle Without Rubbing?
  2. Today was Payday for me... So Finally I Obtained a Fresh New Set of 205/60 ZR 15 Tires for my Weberized Wagon... ... ...
  3. Tighten it So Hard will Destroy the Ball Bearings... Did you Use Good Quality and Enough Quantity of Grease? Kind Regards.
  4. The Plastic under the Front Left Fender Fell Over the Tire, Makin' my Subie to Make a Horrible "BBRRRrrrrr..." Sound that Mixed with the Weberized EA82 Bubbling, Sounded like a Tractor Comin' Somehow... Now that Plastic is Worn... I have to Figure out how to Hang it Up Again...
  5. Yes, The Coolant Flows Thru the intake Manyfold; so the Hose isn't the Direct Supply, but Removin' that tiny Hose Actually Helps to Reduce Coolant Pressure Right at that Point. Kind Regards.
  6. I Know that Feelin' ... When you take your Subie to the Shop to Change the Axle and Boot, I Kindly Suggest you to ask them to Check the Other Boots / Clean & Refill with Fresh Grease the Axles; that will make your Subie's Axles to Last Longer... Kind Regards.
  7. I Don't Believe the Switch is Bad if you Don't Feel it Loose and the Car Behaviour is "Sometimes Start, Sometimes Won't". Ken: That Fail could be Caused by a Worn Starter... The Starter Motor has Carbon Contacts that get worn by Years of Use, I Believe that Maybe your Engine's Starter just Needs Maintenance. Also Bad Grounding or Loose Cables could Cause that issue too. I Kindly Suggest to Start Checkin' those Cables (The ones that goes to the Starter Motor) first. Check this Link: http://www.doityourself.com/stry/engine-starter-repair-how-to-fix-the-carbon-contacts Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  8. Ha, Ha, Ha ... ... LoL! Probably the Funniest Post I've Read in Long time, but he's Somehow Right... Have you Double-Checked your Engine's PCV System? Kind Regards.
  9. Yep, You're Right. The Original Purpose of that Coolant Line at the intake was to Keep Warm the Carb. Some People said that it is to Prevent Ice on Cold Weather ... other People said it is intended to Aid (Somehow) the Cat making a Warm intake... Well... it is Not Needed with the Weber, Anymore. Kind Regards.
  10. Yes... Taller Ride Deserves Taller Tires... Nice Work!
  11. ...Also you can... ...and Take the Whole Lock Cylinder to a Locksmith; I did That Long time ago and Worked Very well. That Works 'cos the Locksmith uses the Actual position of the Lock Cylinder to Cut a Whole New Key, with the Advantage of Testing it Right There. Kind Regards.
  12. I'm Glad to Know that you Solved that Problem with a Happy Ending... Kind Regards.
  13. ...or Remove the Entire ignition Switch to Work with it.
  14. I'm Glad to Know that you Fixed it! Now its Time to Post Pics of your Ride!
  15. Let me Tell you that, when I Did my First Weber Swap on my EA82 Wagon, I Took the intake Manyfold to the Machine Shop to make the Surface as Flat as Possible; so it helps to the Plate & Gasket to cover and hold better there. Also I Ordered to ReDrill the Screw's Size to Fit the Bigger Screws that came with the Weber Kit for the EA82. it haven't Failed nor Leaked Coolant in Almost five Years of Rude Use. Maybe my Li'l Secret is that I Unplugged the Tiny Coolant Hose that goes to that Opening at the intake Manyfold, and Closed the intake Opening. For Pictures of that Procedures, Click on my Avatar. Kind Regards.
  16. I Like the Murphy's Law Option... ...Also it could have an issue with the Resistor's Pack!
  17. About your Subie's Windows, This: the Answer is Somehow: Yes. The Grease on the Mechanism becomes too Hard... Also sometimes Connections Between the Relay unit and Plugs get Rusty Dust... if Problem Persist even with Battery on Board with Engine Runnin' I Kindly Suggest you to Clean & Re-Grease the Windows' Mechanisms; and if a Relay Swap is Needed, the Main unit is Located under the Passenger's Seat, near to the Under-Door's Wall. Kind Regards.
  18. That's Great Advice! if all That is Good and the Engine Still won't Start, I Kindly Suggest to Check the Fusible Links. Kind Regards.
  19. Great! ... to Keep it Original!!! Which one is your Other Subaru?
  20. Very Basically Thinking: I believe it has a Vacuum Leak somewhere... but it also might have a MAF sensor malfunction.
  21. EA82 are Reliable... but EA82T are Not, The engine were not Designed to be Turbo, so the Turbo force them to the Extreme, somehow... That's Why they couldn't bring you very much further than the Stock Numbers... You can do a Great Tune up, New Hoses, Sparkplugs, Fuel injectors, even a New intercooler... etc. but They'll Stay Close to the Stock Numbers. I Know that Sooner or Later Someone will Chime here telling you to do the EJ Engine Swap if you want a More Powerful Ride... and They're Right, but maybe some displays on your Digi Dash will become un trust full... That Ride sounds Nice, this Thread will be Nicer with Pics! Kind Regards.
