  1. Thank you for your Kind Answer! Now I Understand.
  2. True! ... that deserves a Guinness Book of World Records Entry!!! I Agree, Absolutely! That is a Beautiful & Clean 360! ... I Really Like it. Here in my Country, Lots of those 360 Micro Buses and Pick Ups are Still Running, but their owners doesn`t appreciate `em very Well. Great Video, Thank you for Sharing. Kind Regards.
  3. If it Ran Good for around 50 Miles and then Lost Half of its Power, all that after five Years sat... Could it Have a Clogged Exhaust? Because seems like Something is getting Hard to Move... Have you Checked the Vacuum Lines? Good Luck!
  4. Excuse me, Could I Ask the Meaning of "PNW Corner"? I Have a Thread with Pictures about the Procedure of How to Re-Thread in Aluminium... I`ve done it in a Different Area of the Engine`s Block but I Hope that Might Help you. To Reach it, Click on my Avatar, in my "Public Profile" you`ll Find a List of my Writeups, then there is it. Kind Regards. Good Luck!
  5. I Have a Thread about Those Relays and their Wiring, it is Plenty of Pics and Easy Ideas for the Procedure to Swap more Capable Standard Bosch Relays there, instead of those Weak Round Relays. if you Click over my Avatar, in my "Public Profile" You`ll Find a List of some of my Writeups, there is the Relay`s one. I Hope this may Help. Kind Regards.
  6. What was the Cause of that "Hole" in that EJ25?
  7. ... Ttiwwop? ... I Was Wonderin` What could it Mean, But Then I Understood! This: The Most Important is that Nobody got Hurt.
  8. Very Respectfully, Let me Tell you that I Know how to Drive any Kind of Car, (I Learned to Drive back in the 1980`s Decade in a Mercedes 1113 Truck which I Still Drive sometimes ... No Hill Holder and it Carries Very Heavy Loads) But That is not the Point. I Like the Hill Holder Because it is a Special Feature of our Subies and it is Not Common to see that Feature in other Brands of Cars; so it is Part of what makes a Subaru a Subaru. ... ... Also I Like that Everything in my Subie Works Very Well... if anything Fails, I have the feeling that I Need to Repair it ASAP (Also that Hill Holder may Help my Wife when She Drives in the Crazy Hills Streets of my Country ) So, I Really Don`t NEED that Hill Holder Feature, but Since it is a Special Feature of my Subie, I Want it to Work Well. Also, This Idea: Sounds Funny, as "Real Men Don't Need Power Windows ... So Learn how to Use Crank Windows" ... ... Kind Regards.
  9. Thank you for your Kind Replies! Yes here are some Subaru Dealers and many many Aftermarket Parts` Shops; but the Dealer doesn`t have the Right (EA & ER Engines) PCV and doesn`t seems like they will Bring one soon... But Now, Knowing that Some of the Newer Subie`s PCV`s Are the Same, I`ll Take off the one in my Subie and Start Searchin` for a New one by Comparizon... Also Thank you for The List of the Other Brand`s PCV`s that will Fit good in an Old Subie! ... ... That is Great! Kind Regards.
  10. Could you Post Pics of it here? So, if the Engine Really has a Hole in the Block, I`ll Like to see Pics of That too... I`ve Never seen That Before. I Suggest to Keep that subie and Maybe you can even Swap a Newer EJ Engine in it... Yes, the "EJ it" Advice Again ... ... Kind Regards.
  11. I Know that in Post Nº 48 I Said that I Love the Hill Holder Feature and it Never Gave me a Problem in my Wagons... But maybe this Thread was a Premonition... ...My Weberized Subie (My Everyday Warrior) Just Started to Leak from the Hill Holder... So I Did This: Untill I Could Find a Replacement. So, You Wanted a Poll for This Question, Isn`t it? Well, I Did it For You! ... ... Let`s Vote: POLL
  12. Yes, That`s True. But if you Don`t Drop the Engine`s Crossmember, the Constant Velocity Bars will be Forced to Work in Angle, so Axles will Worn around 10X Faster for Sure. Dear Friend Tom: Could I Ask you to do a Simple Test with your Subie? Since the Bigger / Beefy Tires Swap, your Subie`s Speedometer will "Lie", due to their increased Size, your Subie will be Runnin` some Amount of MPH Faster than the Speedometer Reading; so the Test is This: if you could Ask Someone to Follow you in another Car on a Road, both doing the Same Speed... Then Ask the Another Driver about the Reading on the Speedometer and Compare it with your Subie`s Reading... Try it at Different Speeds, Such as 40 MPH, 60 MPH, etc... and then you`ll Know how Much "Lie" is at your Speedometer... post the Results Here. As Long as you Can do it, it will be Very interesting to Know... Also Depending on your Driving Behaviour, your Subie May use -a small amount- Less Fuel to do the Same Travel on Pavemented Road... Kind Regards.
  13. Thank you for your Kind Replies! About This Question: Could it be another Car Brand`s PCV to fit my EA82`s intake? Kind Regards.
  14. Thank You! ... You`re So Kind! I Really Like your Red Wagon, those Rims & Tires Match Perfectly with its Colour & Shape. If you Park it aside to a "Standard" Loyale Wagon from a Friend, you`ll Notice the Difference; maybe you can Take a Picture of Both and Post it Here. Kind Regards.
  15. I Really Like the Look of Your Subie! ... ...with Those 14" Pug Wheels that Look very Nice Powder Coated, Great Job! ... Well Done!!! I Believe that your Subie got More Clearance UnderBody than some other Bigger Cars, Even Without a Lift Kit; Because Lift Kits Needs to Drop the Engine CrossMember and the Rear Diff... Also: I Got Around the Same Tire Clearance / Rubbing on my Subies, `cos I Run Fat 205 Tires; No Problems after all These Years Drivin` Like That... I Even Feel that the Vehicle`s Stability have Increased. Kind Regards.
  16. Thank you for your Kind Answer! This: Sounds Like a Great Idea! I Didn`t Thought about the Gasket Being Sucked in, But due to the Age / Mileage of Engine and Nothing has been Changed so Far... it Makes Sense. Absolutely!
  17. Nice Brat! ... ... I Like it! Could I Ask if the 5 Speed Gearbox was Never an Option for any Brat? Kind Regards.
  18. Hi All! Sometime ago, Right after the Starter Problem was Solved (As Seen on This Thread: Here ) My XT6 Wagon`s engine Started to Sing the TOD Song that Now seems like it Turned to be very Loud! My Dad Asked me to go check it, So I traveled to my Parents` Home and Drove it Around for a While: The TOD Seems to be the Average TOD of those EA82 / ER27 Engines, but if I Let the Engine at Idle for more than four Minutes (For example: in a Traffic Light Semaphore) the TOD gets Even Worse, at the Point that even the Whole Body of the Car Shakes! So, I`m Sure the the Oil Pump is Worn and Weak... Just when the Car goes at Cruise Speeds, the Lifters seems to get some Oil Pressure Relief and the TOD Noise becomes more Silent... I am Not Really Sure if I Can Swap a EA82 Oil Pump in that ER27 Engine ...(Here Aren`t available ER27 Parts)... I have readed about the Oposite thing: People Swapping ER27 Oil Pumps in EA82 Engines. The ER27 Oil Pump gives More Pressure than the EA82 one, but the Questions are: Could I Swap a EA82 Oil Pump in a ER27 Engine? ... What issues could I face in that Situation? ... The Mickey Mouse Seal and other Parts will Fit \ Work / Bolt on? ... I Was Thinking about Using Some Seafoam; As I Have Readed here, the Seafoam works Amazing on these Old Subie Engines... Long Time Ago, a Great Friend from this USMB Kindly Attempted to Send me a Couple of Cans... I Was So Happy; I Asked a Co-Worker to Let me Use his Miami`s (Florida) MailBox to Receive the Cans There ...(The Mailbox Company Brings to Here anything that goes there, for a fee)... But he mistakenly Gave me a Wrong Number... So the Pack returned to my Friend`s and Seems Like I`ve Lost the Chance to Obtain Seafoam Forever... it is Not Available Here and also the well known Car Parts Stores online Doesn`t have it ... :-\ ... I Obtained a Bottle of "Valve Medic" Oil Additive (See Here) But I am not Sure if that will Help or just turn the Problem Worse... Anybody already Tried Valve Medic? Well... There are other Things and Car Parts that Seems to be impossible to Find here, For Example I Need the Black Rubber Band that Goes at the Side Rear Glass` Base of the Back for one of my Wagons... The Dealer Doesn`t have it and when I went to Search it to our Local Junk Yards, ...(they Doesn`t have Local Cars at All)... They Bring the Cars from USA but Already cutted in Half: They Just Bring here The Front Half, the Doors, The Seats, Lights, etc... No Back Body Parts at All... So, Here is Easy to Find Large and "Important" Parts, but Hard to Find Minor or "Luxury" Parts... So I Couldn`t Find it. Also: I need a EA82 PCV Valve for my Weberized Wagon... I Couldn`t Find it at the Dealer, Nor Aftermarked and the Junk Yards` People want me to Buy a Whole intake! This might be a Weird Question, But: is There any other Car Brand that have a Good PCV Valve that can fit the EA82 intake? Kind Regards. ~ JesZeK ~
  19. I Preffer the Older Wagons, for their Simplicity and They`re Very Reliable: Less Electronic parts that can Fail; Also you can Upgrade any older GL / Loyale with an EJ Engine if you Want ... ... Plus their Parts are Cheaper. Let me Tell you, Respectfully, that the First Year for the Legacy was 1989.
  20. Could I Ask if your Subie is Automatic? ... It Might be a Transmission Problem...
  21. Here in my Country, People Widely use TOFF which is a Epoxy Sprayed-On Bedliner Stuff... Seems to be Very Thick, effective and not too Expensive... it is Used in Small Cars too, like Sedans, Wagons... Here is the Link: http://www.toffliners.com/ Kind Regards.
  22. Well... I Removed Completely the Choke on my 32/36 Weber since it was New... (it did Hit the Power Steerin` Pump`s Back and here in the Caribbean Tropics it is not Needed at All) ...I Think I can find that Parts, they where in a Box since then along the Old Hitachi Crap and a Nissan Carb (Craptachi Too) that used to Run in my Subie Just Before the Weber Swap... I`m not Completely Sure if I Can Fully Complete the Choke Set, but Let me Know if you Want it, So I`ll Search... Also, Below you`ll See the Link to the Great Website where I Obtained my Brand New Weber Kit and they Sent it to me here, to my Country; Maybe they can send the Parts you want to your Place too: http://www.webercarburetors.com/ Good Luck!
  23. Not Only in Europe, some of them came here to Latin America but very Few on a Limited Edition "Luxury" Package that was Available here, in my Country too... Because the Source of our Subarus are not "Subaru of America" They comes directly from Japan and Always have been like That. I Saw here a Red Luxury Edition AWD EA82 Turbo Coupe with Those Rims; I Saw it Parked at the Dealer`s Parts Shop some time Ago, when I Went to Buy a Radiator Hose... (and I have seen it riding in the Streets of Capital City sometimes) ...I Asked the Owner about the Rims and other Things and he Told me that Everything came Stock.
