  1. The P1 is a Nice Car! ... Subaru did some "Remakes" in Japan For it, see: Also for the 360 as Electric Vehicle! and the R1 For More info, see this Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53434&page=8
  2. The Better Boots are the Original Ones... here They aren`t Expensive... and I Believe that the Reason for Premature Fail, could be Grease Overfill...
  3. I Agree, Absolutely! ... Maybe if you Post Pics of it ... But to Rescue a Subie and Make it Nice Runnin` for You, could be a Fun Priceless experience...
  4. What is the Reason to Tinting the Tail Lights? ... I Have seen Some Cars with Obscure Tail Lights or with a Dark Plastic Cover, and I Believe it could make `em more Unsafe to Drive, if your Car Doesn`t have a Third Light for Brakes... Here I see the Opposite Too Often: People Swap Clear Lenses` Tail Lights and use Coloured Bulbs (sometimes even Led Bulbs in RED / Yellow \ White colour) like This:
  5. Well... Some Subies go to the Junk Yarks due Things that usually aren`t too Hard to Fix... like Broken Timin` Belts, CV Joints, etc... I Suggest Next time Try to Buy it BEFORE Fix it in front of the Junk Yard Owners, because they will Raise Up the Price if the Car is Working...
  6. Nice Work! ... Thank you for Sharing your Pics! ... I Hope to see More Pics of your Progress...
  7. Great Ideas! Also, Beside to Cut the ignition Power... Why Don`t you use a Steering Bar, like the Club? ... (I Use it on my Subies) See: http://www.overstock.com/Auto-Parts/The-Club-LED-Double-Hooks-Anti-theft-Device/2047371/product.html There are Another Option to Lock the Gearbox`s Shift Stick... See: http://www.bearlocksystem.com/en/welcome1.html Good Luck!
  8. That`s So Sad... Here there are Plenty of Datsuns 210, B210 and 120Y ... Mainly Working as Taxis...
  9. Go Weber! ... I Really Suggest you to Swap there a Weber Carb as long as you Can, but Check Emmissions` Laws too. My EA82 Subie Feels Soo Good with the Weber 32/36 Carb, and it has More Power while keep things Simple. I Have a Writeup with pics about how to do the Weber Swap in EA82 Engines, see my "Public Profile" Page Here (Click on my Avatar) to reach a Brief List of my Writeups... Maybe it can Help you. Kind Regards! ... Good Luck!
  10. I Purchased mine at: www.webercarburetors.com They`re Kind People. To see Details of the Swap Procedure on EA82`s see my Writeup about it with Step by Step info and plenty of Pics... you can Find it at the List of some of my Writeups, at my "Public Profile" Page here, just Click on my Avatar... Good Luck!
  11. Well... Seeing those Pictures of Rusted Subies by Salt, makes me feel Glad to Live at the Caribbean Tropics!
  12. Well... the Fuel Filter in Loyales is just One, and is Located Down, Under the Car, Behind the Electric Fuel Pump and Nearby the Tank & Passenger`s Rear Wheel... if you Check the Tank & Fuel Lines and then everythin` seems to be Fine, your Subie Might have a Carburetor Failure... My 1985 EA82 had the SAME Behaviour than yours with the Aged Craptachi Carb... Then I Swaped There a Weber and the Subie Runs Great! ... Plus more Powerful, Loud and Simplier! Good Luck!
  13. So... ... Many Cars! ... it is So Nice that To see so Many Subies in a Family! ... Beautiful Pics! Thank you for Share!
  14. I Believe (But I`m Not 100% Sure) that the ER27 Engine`s fuel Pump can work well on FI EA82`s ...
  15. Not The Denso I Said: 3194 Denso Multi-Ground Spark Plug. Part # K16TR11 Because they have Twin Ground Tips that are Fixed, and they`re "Made in Japan" ... Well, at Last the ones that comes here.
  16. Here are Available some Ugly Korean Trucks (Brands like SsangYong, Hyundai, Samsung and Kia - look, some words are Web Links) that Uses 14" Single Tires in Front, and a Pair of 13" Tires Each Side Rear... That`s Why They`re Ugly! ... Both Front & Rear Rims are Six Lugs... So There are the Only Source I Know of Six Lugs 13" Rims... See: ...I Suggest to Use 14" instead...
  17. Let me Explain the "Nissan Alike" Thing ... Subaru & Nissan had something in Common back in the Eighties, they Share some Parts almost identical, like the Lock`s Keys, Alternators, Carburetors, etc... Maybe People at Nissan Liked the Subaru Designs (Which Came First) a Picture Worth 1001 Words: Also, the Nissan Maxima compared with the Subaru Loyale:
  18. Long Time Ago, I Was Thinking that Every Gearbox Oil Labeled as 80W-90 Could Perform the Same on my Subies... I was Wrong! Both my Subies got the Manual 5sp Trans... First I Used 85W-90 Gearbox there, Pennzoil, Then Valvoline, etc... (I Change that Oil Around every two Years or Less) ...But then I Found a QMI Gearbox Additive with Teflon (PTFE) ... after the 6 Oz. QMI Additive was Poured in the Gearbox, the Shifting experience Became Harder ... ... The Shift Knob was so Hard to remove from First and Second Gears, less Hard in Other Gears, but very Harder than Usual... :-\ So I Flushed all the Gearbox`s Oil and Poured Fresh 80W-90 There, everything Went Normal Again... Untill I Found a Very Special Gearbox Oil: The Motul 80W-90 plus Moly (Mo2) Additive! ...That Oil seems to be So Greasy and Shiny Black, due to the Addition of Molybdenum For More info, See This Site: http://www.motul.co.nz/product_line_up/gear_box/gear02.html Since the Use of That Motul Moly Oil, my Subies` Gearboxes Performs like New, Smooth Faster & Easier Shiftin` plus no Grinding Sounds... and no Need to Mix anything! I Hope This can Help! ... Kind Regards!
  19. I Agree! ... Absolutely! ... Specially Webers!!!
  20. If you want Better Drivin` Lights, Why don`t you use a Good H.I.D. Kit in Light Yellowish Colour Like I Did? ... See: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89661&page=8 if you do That, I Suggest you to Use a Hi/Low Moving Beams H.I.D. Kit like I Did, to Avoid blind the incoming Drivers` Eyes.
  21. That is a Website about a Family of Subies! http://www.rockyroadracing.com/team/bios/bios.html Aren`t anyone of `em here?
  22. Well... I Don`t Know if this has been Posted Yet, but I came across this nice info on the Web, About How to MegaSquirt your Subaru RX Turbo, it is about Building a Harness Adaptor to use the stock wiring harness for full control of the stock fuel and ignition systems with the MegaSquirt-II See this Website: http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_articles/how_to_megasquirt_your_subaru_rx_turbo.htm
