  1. So EJ22 will increase your Subie`s Power from the EJ18 I Will Like to See Pictures of it, as long as you can... Does the EJ22 came Carb`d There Too?
  2. My Dad and I had to Change the Entire Exhaust Pipe from the EA82 Wagon long time Ago... Because here in Honduras, Unleaded Gasoline came just untill year 1994... ...and the EA82 Wagon was Runnin` Here since 1985... So the Cathalytic Converter and other Stuff Got Poisoned with Lead... with all the Related Problems (Like Toxic Gases Making our eyes Red, Overheatin` issues, Slow Revving Engine plus the Weak sensation, etc... ) of a Clogged Exhaust. So we Changed the Entire Pipes from Start to End, with Two inches (2") Pipes, From the Engine to the "Y" which is Open Free, then straight flow to the Muffler, which is Just an Open Box Without Any Restriction. Every Part of the Pipes are Two Inches diameter. in Order to Avoid the "Fart Can" Sound of an Open Box instead of a Muffler, we put Fiberglass in the Box`s inner Walls (The One used to Absorb Noise & Heat in Buildings - industrial Grade) so the Car isn`t Noisy and since Then, no more Toxic Fumes that irritates the Eyes nor Slow Revvin` Overheatin` Engine Anymore... I Believe that Open 2" is Very Good to the EA82, it gives the Right Amount of Pressure... The Engine Works too Quiet and no "Pop Pop" noise when you leave the Gas Pedal. I Hope this experience could Help... Kind Regards!
  3. The're Coming to Central America Again! ... ... Iron Maiden will do a Concert in March 3, 2009 at San JoséThey came Last Year too ... ... I'll Like to See that Picture Too! ... Sounds Very interesting
  4. Very Nice Brat! ... I Like it, seems to be a Beautiful Restoration Project!
  5. Your Brat Looks Very Nice & Clean! ...... Good Job, Well Done! Could I Ask more information about the Headlamps` Lights? ... They aren`t Sealed Beams, isn`t it? ...
  6. Well... Yes, but there`s Another Board Member Runnin` his EA81 Brat with Parts from "SUB4" Airplane Engines... Expensive but Right Bolt in, no Engine Swap Needed...
  7. I will Love to see Bigger Pics of the Electric Subie... Could somebody post `em here Again? Thanx!
  8. it is a Really interesting Car for Sure! ... Could you give us more Details of the Engine, such as Displacement, Horsepower, Torque, etc... it Really looks Good in Red! ... ... Congrats!!!
  9. Yea! ... Come see this Thread, where you can see that the "Loyale" Body did came also with the 1300 (EA65) and 1600 (EA71) Not only 1800 (EA81 & EA82) Engines, Outside USA...
  10. Readin` about That and Knowin` about that problem before... I Believe that there must be some Sort of "Air Bubble" Trapped Somewhere in the Cooling System, plus a Failing Thermostat. Maybe the Heather core / Hoses \ Pass did hold some Air that needs to be Purged out... Good Luck!
  11. All those pics Posted are nice! Noo! ... Iron Maiden!!! I am the Biggest Iron Maiden Fan in Honduras (or I Believe so) I Like their Music! ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/92194-iron-maiden/ Kind Regards.
  12. Welldone the Photoshop!... Nissan had the Sentra Shortened Just like That, back in 1989... it is a Scarse model...
  13. First Upload them to a Free Pictures Server, like "Photobucket" that is the one I Use since 2005 so far without any Problems. Then, open the Picture at Photobucket, do Right Click over it, and do a Click in "Copy" ... Then come to the Forums, do Right Click between the Text you`re Writing, and do click over "Paste" ... And That`s All! Good Luck!
  14. Yes, remove the Bumper, but I Suggest to use some Penetrating Oil there, `cos bolts can be Rusted and Hard to Turn... Good Luck!
  15. Subyota! ... Like the New AE86 (Toyota Trueno) Project from Toyota and Subaru...
  16. Oh my God! ... it Looks like a Subie Body Mounter over a Toyota 4X4 Chassis! ... ... did it Still have a Subaru Engine? ... Now That is some Serious Lift!
  17. Just Take it Out, carefully Remove all the Screws and Stuff... if you Want to Rebuild a Craptachi Carb, you must be Careful with the Small Aluminium Threads, do not Overtight `em. Are you Really Sure do you want to do That? ... I Suggest Swap there a Weber Carb as long as you Can... Good Luck!
  18. I Agree... I Prefer White, because when Black Rims becomes Dirty, sometimes trend to look like bad old cheaper Rims...
  19. Unless the fan went Out to Hitting something and make that Damage, otherwise I Do not Believe the Fan Clutch has done that to the Water Pump. I have Locked my EA82 Subie`s Fan Clutch since 1993, to Gain some coolness, (it is Nessesary here at the Tropics) and I had no problems with that so Far... I Suggest to Check Carefully all the System...
  20. My EA82 Wagon is known as the "BumbleBeast" That is a Name I invented around 1996 at the University. Often is called the "Canary" , "OverPimped" , "Li`l Chicken" , "Running Bannana" , "SpongeBaru SquareAss" etc... by local friends. But in Spanish. More information by Clicking on the link at my Signature below. Kind Regards. ►Edited to fix Font Colour.
  21. Nice Brats! ... Beautiful Pictures! ... ... Thank you for Sharing!
  22. Well... I`m not Sure on Subies, Might be Timin` or Fuel/Air Mixture, but in Old Ford Couriers (Made by Mazda) I repaired one just Changin` a ignition Part, I Don`t know its English name, but it looks almost like the same one that some Older Subies have at the Disty: in Spanish they`re Called "Platinos" ... So Old School... ...
