  1. Yes!... Pics Please. To post Thumbnails, Get a Free Photobucket (or other free Image Hostin´ Website) Account, and do Copy / Paste the Thumbnails it Displays of your Uploaded images. Good Luck!
  2. Oh, Thank you, You´re Soo Kind! I Love to Drive it Too...
  3. Well, in my White Wagon, the Wire did go Out itself, Touched the Ground and make the Gauge go up for around Five Minutes, I was Drivin´ when I Noticed that and Stopped the Car to fix it up... But now, when engine´s Off, the Gauge Drops half the way down... ...it Works but Lower than it is intended to be, so in High Pressure, the Gauge almost reaches the "zero"... I don´t Know how to fix it on the Dashboard...
  4. Yes, Its the Best! I Like it, my White Wagon is 1985 and Weber too, so I know those. Congratulations!
  5. Aluminium Foil Wrappin´ the Gaskets! Nice Very Good Idea!!! Thanx!
  6. This are two Pics of the New Oil Pump with both Sensors installed: I´ll Search for the Wire for the Low Oil Light and Reinstall it. The "Fartin´ Engine" Problem Persists... When it Reaches above of 4,000 Rpm´s in the Highway, if I press the Gas Pedal to the Bottom, the engine start to "Fart" and slow Down instead of Accelerate... What do you Think ´bout? I just moved the ignition Timin´ to 20º... I will Clean the Carb... (Maybe some Dirt Got into) and I´ll Try Race it Again... Any Advice will be Welcome! Thanx!
  7. Trully, I think the Same. Subarus Rule! They even can Fly!
  8. Yes, it Should Idle around 600~900 Rpm´s, lower Idle makes the Oil Pump do Lower Pressure... Are you Shure that the Aftermarket is Well Calibrated? 40 PSI seems to be very High to an Engine at Idle ! Other thing that Directly affects the way Oil Pump Performs, is the Oil that is Used; for Example: if it is 5W~30 the Pressure will be Higher than if it is 20W~50 for Sure. So, which Oil are your Engine usin´ ?
  9. Already Started up the Engine, and the New Oil Pump Performs Great! The car Runs Great Too, but I have two more Questions: Since I Installed the New Oil Pump, the Engine makes Two New Different Sounds: First is a Whistling sound in the Background of the Normal Engine´s Noise, as a Turbo or a High revvin´ Electric Motor; it is more noticeable when I remove my foot from the gas pedal, and the Engine´s Revvs are goin´ Down. The Second is Li´l weird, let me Explain: Since I installed the Weber Carb, the Engine did "Scream" a Loud Roar when I press the Gas Pedal and it Opens its Secondary Stage, but that "V8" alike -or so- Sound was Hearing only with the Secondary opened; but Since I´ve installed the new Oil Pump, the Roar begns even a Low Rpm´s... I like that Sound very much, but in a low Rpm´s is New for me... So, the Question is: is it Possible that I have Misplaced one Timin´ Belt Theet and now the Engine Performs Different? It Feels soo Powerful, and it Starts inmediatly, So I don´t Know what Happened. I Already Checked the Carb and Everythin´ and All seems to be OK. What do you Think About?
  10. Could you Post some Pics of that Fog Lamp Tail Light?
  11. Some Vacuum Advances came with Double Pipes, some are Single Piped. I Changed the one Double Piped that came in my EA82 Wagon, for a Single Piped one, Connected right to the Weber Carb, and it Performs Much Better! If your Subie got a Single one, is easy to Fix as Directed in the Previous Posts, but if its Double, I think is better Idea to change it by a Good one, Maybe you can find it Easy at a Junk Yard. Good Luck!
  12. Could you Post some Pics of your RX? Yes, Vacuum Hoses is a Good Idea to Start, Belts, Fuel Filter & Pump, Spark Plugs, etc... Good Luck!
  13. Well, I want to put a Hood Scoop on my Wagons, if I can I will Start with the White one, the one that got the Weber Carb, ´cos I think that scoop not only Will give a Better Lookin´ Image, I think it can give Fresher Air to the Weber, and could make its Scream Louder Outside But the Question is: How a open Scoop that pass Fresh air, can leave Water from the Rain Outside the Engine? ... Maybe it is Imposible, so Maybe I Should put the Scoop Just for the Look, and dont open any Hole to the Hood... ...Well I don´t Know. So, did Anyone Tried this? Could you Post here some Pics of your Setups? Thanx! - JesZeK
  14. Don´t you Like a more "Metallic" Lookin´ Shift Knob? Like Mine: it is Wider to the Front, so it has Spaces for the Fingers... its "Jealöda" Brand of Germany, Stainless Steel, Heavyweight but Nice Feelin´ The only problem of a metallic Knob is Sunny / Cold weathers, that makes it too Hot \ Cold to Handle comfortably, so I usually Leave my Baseball Cap over it! With this Short Shifter and the Cap over, the car seems to be like without Shifter!
  15. Oh, Thank You! Yes, I did a Wooden Ring, in 45º Angle, so the two Inches out Doesn´t Seems... This is a Picture of my Setup: Also, I did Cut Down the Shifter! Well... if You wanna install there a New Stereo Unit, You most Remember that they aren´t Standard Wired, the Front Left & Right Speakers Share their Ground, and the Rear Left & Right Speakers too... So it can cause a newer Unit to block Sound out... Be Carefull. I suggest to do the "Search" on the Forum, I believe there´s a Well Writed Directions on it, or on the USRM. Good Luck!
  16. Thanx for All Replies! Already installed the New Oil Pump, and this is How it Looks Like: This new Pump came with the Low Oil "Light" Sensor, Not the Pressure Gauge Sensor, but I also Installed that one too, so Now the Oil Pump got Both Sensors. I´ll Try to Start it up later, when I Finnish to reinstall the Radiator, Belts, Oil Filter, new Oil, etc... So I come back Work in it Now.
  17. Thank You! When I came back Town this Past Weekend, I was Happy for the New Oil Pump, And I did Open the Box and Taked it Out of the Plastic Bag where it Comes, And then, I Discovered that the New Oil Pump Didn´t Came with the two Gasket that it Needs! I was Far Away from the Capital City (Where the Dealer is) so I asked to my Uncle to send me here those Gaskets (The "Mickey Mouse" one, and the Round One) by Bus... They came Early Today Why a New Oil Pump didn´t Come Along with its Gaskets? Well, I gotta Go Work in it now! Thanx!
  18. Well... Hi Again! This is a Li´l Update for this Thread. I Didn´t buy the New Oil Pump, ´cos I don´t have Enough Money yet, I was Waitin´ untill Mid of this Year to Buy some things to Upgrade my Loyale Wagons, but Recently I Did some temporary Jobs to a Uncle who lives in Tegucigalpa City (One of the Twin Cities that Make our Capital City) and he Heard the Horrible "Tick of Death" Song that my EA82 White Wagon does in every Semaphore (Traffic Lights) or in the Traffic Jams at Idle Speeds for more of four Minutes, due to the Bad Oil Pump, When the Pressure Dies. So, he instead of Pay me in Money, he Ask me if I want a New Oil Pump as Payment, Well... I Accepted! ... Even if it Means No money for Gas / Food for the Trip back... :-\ ...But my White Wagon is Worth it! So, the past Weekend I came back to the Town where I´m Workin´ with the New Oil Pump for my EA82, and Right Now, I will install it on my Subie! So, I want to Share some Pics of the Process I´m Doin´ I love to Share Pics! They Worth Much Words... First, I "Cleaned" Internally the Oil Passages of the Engine with Motul´s Engine Clean, Pourin´ it right to the Old Oil, Idlin´ the Engine for 15 Minutes, and then Drained all Out. Then I Taked out the Radiator, External Belts, Timin´ Belt Covers, Timin´ Belts, etc... Then, I Will Clean it All, After the New Pump´s Install... This is How it Looks Right Now, with the Old Oil Pump Out: Well... I´m Gonna Clean it Now, Then I´ll be Back to the Forum, so Any Advice Will be Wellcome! Wish me Luck!
  19. Did you Make the Dyno Test Yet? ... ... How is the Progress now?
