  1. Oh! ... Again Thanx. I´ll try to Call Jason in Monday... ...Thanks for the Info!
  2. Well... I have readed the Thread that you posted here... Thank you!, Now I think that is Better Idea to call Jason... but seeing there, they refer as the Turbo and Non Turbo Models got Different Oil Pumps. Sooo... A three new Questions has Come: Is there any Difference Between the Turbo and the Non Turbo EA82 Engine´s Oil Pumps? Can I Put a Turbo Engine´s Oil Pump on a Non Turbo Engine? Is the Turbo Engine´s Oil Pump "Better" than the Non Turbo Engine´s Oil Pump? Excuse me for too many questions... Thanx Again!
  3. Thank you so Much! You are so Kind! I´ll Check it now! ...
  4. Well... I put there the Special Round device to check the air pressure on the Tyres... and other small stuff. To the Cell Phone, I made a Special Harness in the Roof... behind the Mirror´s Base.
  5. Also you should check the Wheels´ Alignment and Brakes.
  6. Yes! the EA82 flows way Better than the EA81 Does, and you only need to do minor adjustments to it to fit the EA81 Engine. I did obtained the K731 Kit, that includes the Weber 32/36 DEGV (it means Electric Choke) along with the two plate Adaptor to put in to the EA82 Intake Manyfold... (for the EA81 the Kit is the K730, that uses a single plate Adaptor... ) and the nice chromed Air Filter Box, the Washable / Cleanable Element, all the Nuts, Bolts... Etc... in one Package, with Illustrated Instruction, in this Website: www.webercarburetors.com Also, I need to say that I live in Honduras, Central America; They sent that K731 Kit for me here, so I believe that there should be No Problems to send that to you tu the U.K. ... I just called by Phone, and a Guy Called Issac did sent it to me... (After I Pay for it, of course ) ...He is So Kind, maybe he can Help you. Finally, I suggest you to see this Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53143 Here I explain how to do the Hoses connection, and How to make the li´l drill work need to be done in the EA82 Intake Manyfold, before you install that Kit. So, Welcome and Good Luck!
  7. Thanx for All Replies!!! Now I know how much is the Average cost of that Pump in U.S.A. ... Here is Twice or More... :-\ ...Well, I just want to Add two Last Questions: Did you Got an Internet Link to the Webpage where I can buy that Pump? or Maybe an e-mail? if not, I´ll call by Phone to Jason, as Turbone Said... Thank you Soo Much!
  8. Hi! First of All: Thank you all for Reply this Thread. I got a White Wagon with the EA82 -Weberized- that got above 225,000 Original Miles on it... and Now the Oil Pressure did Drop Down too much from its usual Average... So the Hydraulic Lifters are Singin´ the "Tick of Death" Song now, and they just quiet untill I rev. the engine up about 3,000 R.P.M.´s or more for a while, when Oil Pressure Start Goin´ up. At Idle speed (Around 700 R.P.M.´s) Oil Pressure Needle is Dead !!! So, since I did Resealed it around the mid 90´s decade, (I´m not sure which year) when same thing happened, but now is even Worse, I think now is Time to Change the Whole Pump. This is the Point where I need your Help. The Engine is a 1985 Carbed (Weberized) Californian EA82... Here, the Only Place to buy an Original Oil Pump, is the Dealer... but it wants Around $ 200.ºº (Two Houndred U.S.A. Dollars) for it... (Here it is about L. 4,000.ºº Honduran Lempíras... it means too much money for me :-\ ) So I just wanna know a Few Things before I start removin´ my Subie´s Oil Pump: Is $ 200.ºº an Reasonable price for a New Original Oil Pump? Which is its Part Number? Is there a Internet Place where I can Buy it Cheaper? If so: Which is the Link? Is there any non Original Replacement for it that performances Better or is Cheaper but Works as the Original one? Is true that I can put there an "Electrical Oil Pump" ( )? if its true: Which one and How? and finally: What else do you Suggest? ... Like if is Better Idea to buy the Dealer´s Original One, or an Aftermarket one... Please help me... Any Ideas are Welcome! Thank you soo much... Best Regards. JesZeK
  9. Hi! I just want to Tell you that Both my Wagons got in the Corner Lights, a White Lamp (To the Front) and a Orange Lamp (To the Side) and both lights are just: "On or Off" no Blink action at All... My White Wagon is 1985 California Version, and the Yellow one got parts from many diferent year models, but got the same Lamps too. I´ll Love to make ´em flash with the Turn Signals... But instead, I am thinkin´ the Idea to instal some kind of Light in the Door Mirrors to act as the extra turn signal Lights from a brand new Luxury car... What do you Think About? did anyone try that before? Any Ideas? Also: I Like the Wagon in the Picture... Really Nice!!!
  10. Well... I really don´t Know why my Weberized EA82 almost dies when I take strongly a Left Turn with the Engine Idling... Let me Explain it Better. My Country is extremly mountany, due to that, ALL roads and also the Cities Streets´ got too many Hills... So, to economize Gasoline, I drive some parts of the Streets (Downhills) with the engine Just Idling... (GearBox in Neutral - Mine is Manual 5sp.) Some Boulevards, Highways, roads... etc... and when I take a left turn with the engine idling @ about 700 R.P.M.´s and @ 50 or so K.P.H. ... (Specially on Cities) the Red Lights of the Dashboard Flashes and the R.P.M.´s Drops to almost 150 So, I think that maybe it is "Something" wrong... maybe the Hoses I did Interconnect from each head valve´s cover and the P.C.V. to the Weber´s Airbox Filter. Any Idea?
  11. Welcome!!! Nice Brat you Got... Congratulations... Also, I just wanna add this: Put on a Weber!. The 32/36 Weber will take the Best from that EA81 Engine... Believe me. You can Find the K730 Kit at: www.webercarburetors.com I got my K731 (For EA82) there. I´ll will Like to see more Pics of the Progress of the Project. Good Luck!
  12. I forgot to ask you a Question: Is that an Intercooler in the Hood?
  13. Hey! ... Welcome ... Very Nice Wagon you Got... Congratulations! If you upgrade it, I´ll Like to see more Pics Here...
  14. I´ll Like to see that... Could you post any Pics here? Please... Thanks!
  15. Anyone Knows any other Answer to the First Page Questions? Thanks!
  16. I`ll Like to See Images of it Here... Could you Post some Here? Thanx!
  17. Thank You!... I`ll think about the Relays... Long time ago I did consider that Idea, but I was thinkin` that with the use of the 87A Pin, is not nessesary to have two Relays... Look this Schematic Drawing: I will wait with this new Plugs... (Sockets) ...If they get "Cooked" too... i will put a Relay in. Thanks. Also I forget to mention that I use Halogens on the Backin` Lights of my Subies... That`s because here usually rains too much, and sometimes I need better Light to backin` more Safely. You can see them here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ALGXGE/qid=1150129842/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/002-2168041-4197627?%5Fencoding=UTF8&s=automotive&v=glance&n=15684181 they got the same base & size than the Standard 1156 Base (one contact) bulbs that used on many subies in the Front Lights (On the Corners, near the Headlights) on the Backin` Lights, etc... I accidentally take a picture of the Box where they did came to me (From Amazon) when I was about to Drill wider threads on the Intake Manyfold of my -now Weberized- EA82 white wagon, to fit the Weber Adaptor Plate. You can see it here: Well... I like too much brighter Lights... but I can`t use those halogens in Front of the car, `cos they heat too much, and can melt the plastic cover near the Main Headlights... Instead I use a Multi Beam White LED Bulbs there... They look as if I got Neons Threre... Something Similar to This: But with Thinner Head. Well... Thanx Again.
  18. Yes, I Know the Feeling... I got the Same Situation, but let me Explain that Changin` the Standard 9004 Bulbs for Rally 9104 Bulbs, was NOT for poor Light, it was for "Longer Beam Lights" let me Explain: The 9004 is "Wide" Ilumination, but Short reach on High Beams... the 9104 has almost the same reach area in Low Beam, but almost double far on High Beams... Also 9104 makes each headlight to illuminate as if it got three lightning spots, as a "W" Letter, so with 9104 you got double "W" Beams... Looks like a WW in front of the Car... with 9004 you can see this, but very difuminated... As added Info: in each Headlight with 9104, you can see a diagonal line crossin` it, as the Volvo Sign... (When Lights are On) as some H4 Bulbs do. I travel Too Much (Really Too Much) on Nighttime with my Subies, almost each weekend, and our Pathetic Roads got a lot of Pot Holes and Cows, Horses, Donkeys... Etc... crossin` in the blackness of the night, in curves, etc... So that`s why I Changed them... You could notice the BIG Difference on a dark road... the 9104 reach the double distance than the 9004... Also I added a pair of Round H3 Halogens under the Front Bumper, and changed the usual 55W bulbs with Flösser H3 of 100 Watts Each, This Ones: And now my car seems to illuminate as a Stadium Lights on the Dark Roads ... Doin` that I don`t wanna hurt anybody`s eyes, so I Only use those 9104`s High Beam and those 100W H3 on Open Roads, and the Round H3 Lights goes along whith the High Beam of the Main Lights. Well, I hope this info. could help anybody with similar situation of dark night travels on dangerous Roads... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Anybody knows the Answers to the past Questions on this Threads? Thanks!
  19. Yes... It Happens... January 1995... :-\ I first get the 9104 as a part of my Dad`s Christmas Gift... ...on December 1994, and on the first trip with them, on January 1995, the wires got overheat, but the melted part was the Plugs... Just Changed it with New ones with Thicker Wires at about one feet long to the original stock wires, and Voilá! ... It works Great for a couple of years... Then melted Plugs Again... and Change Done Again... And so the Story Goes... But now I Changed plugs for better ones in March... I hope those will Last More!
  20. Well... I Use the "Flösser" 9104 High Beam Headlights... You can try here: www.flosser.com To see more about, and Images, see this thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?p=474888#post474888
  21. About the Difference between the 9004 and the 9104 Bulbs, See... Also, see this Comparison, to make things more Clear: This Images, Shows the Great "Flösser" 9104 Bulb, along with a Standard 9004 Bulb, just see them and you`ll notice the Difference. The problem I Got is that I can`t found a store that sells them, except for it`s own website ( www.flosser.com ) on Germany, and I can`t buy anything from other countries, just U.S.A. due to a Mailbox / Credit Card Issues (I don`t Live at U.S.A... Remember) So if Anybody knows where (In Internet / USA Based Websites ) I can buy them, I`ll be so Thankfull. Best Regards.
