  1. Sorry to see you were on a Crash with your Subie, but glad to know that you're alright. Yes the Subaru is Fixable, but the Easiness or Hardness to do that, will depend on the real state of the engine, frame rail, etc... and the time / money you might have to resurrect it... Good Luck, Kind Regards.
  2. My H.I.D.'s are fitted directly to the Headlamps without any modification, I know that some people dislike that setup, especially for the Glare that might blind incoming traffic, however, the Low beam has a sharp cut which prevents from blinding incoming traffic, if Properly adjusted; also the Glass lenses keeps transparency at the best, all the time; unlike plastic lenses that becomes yellowish with age, loosing transparency, which provides much more Glare; and people nowadays, are using the Bright LED bars, which provides a very Dangerous glare... I rather prefer H.I.D.'s on Stock Headlamps. Not all H.I.D.'s came on Projectors; there are some cars, including certain Subaru imprezas, that came with H.I.D.'s from factory, installed on Headlamps. Kind Regards.
  3. You're Welcome. I understand that the Search function on the New USMB's system really doesn't work well; however, usually I remember the most important / useful threads, in order to share them here. I was about to obtain a set of LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Specs' set of Headlamps for the EA82, which are Plastic Housing with Glass lense, using a brighter H4 Halogen Bulb, instead the USDM Specs' Headlamps that are on my "BumbleBeast" which are, Metal housing with Glass lense, using the lousy 9004 Halogen bulb; but the Headlamps were alright... Here you can see the LADM Specs' Headlamps: └► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/page-5?do=findComment&comment=1269885 So, what I did, was to Retrofit Dual Beam (Lo / Hi) H.I.D. at 55 watts, on yellowish 5000K colour, and that setup has been working alright since 2008, flawlessly so far... Here you can see the H.I.D.'s └► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/?do=findComment&comment=1031082
  4. Turbone successfully retrofitted H.I.D. projectors, inside the original EA82 Halogen Headlamps, with Awesome Results, here is his Writeup: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/120953-projector-lenses-into-glloyale-buckets/ He is very Smart and Skilfull, and shared his knowledge on that thread, with Photos, I bet you will find it, useful. Kind Regards.
  5. I forgot to write that also I do a complete correction of Colour / Contrast \ Sharpness and quality edition to each photo that I store on my account, to be shared here on the Forum. No offence intended, but... ...he places a Watermark on his photos, too. Kind Regards.
  6. Certain alternators found on Diesel engined cars, has a Vacuum pump built in their rear, maybe you can retrofit one of those in order to have a vacuum source for the Actuator. Could you share Photos of your 4X4 Subaru Sambar? Kind Regards,
  7. Appreciated fellows, There is a Reason for the Watermarks, which already has been Widely explained on the Forums, there is also a whole thread regarding the Subject, But summarizing: Watermarks are placed only on those Photos are are Hosted on my Behalf, at my Photobucket Server's account; which I pay an annual fee for; and I have had many problems in the past with limited bandwidth and people hot linking my photos outside my posts, which reduced even more the limited bandwidth I had; I received many, many complains in the past due to my photos Not being displayed on my Writeups and posts, for exceeding the monthly bandwidth... so the only solution for keep my photos Viewable, was to Pay an Annual fee, also to place a watermark on them to avoid such hot linking. I hope that you understand, however if there exists an unconfortable feeling among the users, to due such Watermark, let me know, and I will stop sharing photos and paying for the annual fee... I have more than a year being Jobless, after all. Here is the Thread with more Background information regarding the Bandwidth issues: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/139920-photobucket-sucks-a-rant-about-picture-hosting-woes/ Please, read it completely, in order to fully understand the Situation. Yours faithfully, Kind Regards.

My '69 Coupé is 45 Years old Now: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/102330-celebrating-the-first-40-years-of-my-other-car/ My Subaru Wagon is 30 Years old: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/ And my Wife's Sedan reached 15: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/101718-kia-sephia-sporty/

  10. This thread Should be Pinned in the Historic gen sub-Forum, like the Older gen and newer gen has their own photos' threads.
  11. Sorry for the crappy quality of the first two photos, those were taken with my Cellphone's camera... The colours looks Mixed, somehow. Kind Regards.
  12. Found a Couple of Old Photos of my beloved "BumbleBeast" at the Local "Napa" Store: Here says in Spanish, "Open on Sundays, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm" Also working, carrying Wood for a Construction: Kind Regards.
  13. This nice one, which even has a five lug swap; is for sale on Craigslist: ~► http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/5244887158.html ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/155764-1990-subaru-loyale/
  14. I'm glad that you find the Culprit, I really Love to Help Sadly, to cut the bottom from air filter Boxes, is somehow a weird "Custom" among certain persons, who believes that such added opening, will make the air entrance, "Easier" ... like installing a Cone Filter from a Cold Air Intake; but what they really do, is to get the filter element pretty dirty, faster, and make the engine, noiser; and that noise during acceleration gives the "Placebo" effect to the drivers who believes that such "modification" makes their cars to go Faster, or accelerate faster... I've read such idea long ago, on other Automotive Forums where also I am a member. Kind Regards.
  15. It depends on which Carburetor is it. Photos might help a lot... Kind Regards.
  16. After all the other things has been ruled out, this: Sounds more like a Carburetor / timing issue... Have you checked the ignition timing? Carburetor flooding? Kind Regards.
  17. I agree with Bushwick, you need to do further tests to find the culprit. But it sounds like Vibration of some sort... or air getting inside the Box, from a place that is not intended to allow air entrance... Kind Regards.
  18. I'm sorry if "MediaFire" became a little Confusing for download files, but the Advertising keeps the files to be stored and shared for Free, and nothing can beat Free, and also they gives top speed for Download; my list of shared files is on the previous page of this Thread. Thank you for your kind words which I Really Appreciate.
  19. Thank you so much for your your kind words, which I really appreciate. Jerry is an Awesome friend, he sent me, from his place in USA, to my place in Honduras, the set of Rear Disc Brakes, that have really helped me a Lot, on my Subaru "BumbleBeast" since years ago. Kind Regards.
