  1. I have edited almost all my Previous Posts on this Thread since the Beginning, with Updated information and photos, please take your time to check the previous posts, which are an index to my main Writeups and Threads, regarding my "BumbleBeast" This is an Old video taken during a Weekend Family trip in my "BumbleBeast", on a two-way Road in Honduras, the video is short, but there you can see in action, the alloy 15" wheels it used to have, then I'll share here photos of the Newer wheels I obtained. just Cruisin' as will smith said
  2. Yes, RockAuto is Great! You forgot the EA82 MPFi Kind Regards.
  3. Almost all the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Specs Subarus, has Dual Range, from the impreza to the XV, but is easier to buy the entire vehicle than to find one on a local Junk Yard... If you want to see photos of LADM specs Subarus, click ~► Here. Yes, there's a company in USA offering conversion kits to make Dual Range certain EJ transmissions: ~► http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-Gearbox-5MT-Dual-range-conversion-kit-USA-only-Legacy-Impreza-Forester-/271274224042/ Also, there is (or was?) a Dual Range 5MT for sale in USA, here @ USMB: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/144426-ej-dual-range-trans-for-sale/ Kind Regards.
  4. C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!! That's a Nice, first gen Brat for sure, I'm glad that it is on the right hands now. Kind Regards.
  5. That is Good, I used a "T" shaped fitting, with both main sides being 5/8" and one smaller side to the Relief written above... works the same. I bet that you found those posts Already here's one example, regarding how properly do the PCV connections on EA82's: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/114260-oil-catch-can-in-ea82/page-2 Kind Regards.
  6. Yes and Not exactly. The idea of the "Detour" with a smaller diameter hose, is to avoid the PCV valve from Sucking Oil, so such small diameter hose, is some sort of pressure relief on the system. Otherwise, the vacuum from the PCV valve will suck Oil, instead of Fumes only. Kind Regards.
  7. I can only tell for sure the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) and JDM (Japanese Domestic Market), but with the Steering on the Other side also, maybe certain European, African and Asian Countries... I really don't know accurately... So you call "Series 1" to the Early (1984 ~ 1986) Editions of the EA82, Then, "Series 2" must be the intermediate (1987 ~ 1990) editions, and I guess that you call "Series 3" to the Late (1990 ~ 1994) Editions, isn't it? Kind Regards.
  8. This is the mere Original Design, with Fender Mirrors: Back on Topic, what have I done to my Subie, Lately? Besides pouring fresh Gear Oil on the Gearbox after the Sabotage, Nothing, but Driving it and the Gearbox noises are fading, slowly... Kind Regards.
  9. So, I went to my Garage and shot a Photo of the door's Glass on my "BumbleBeast" so you can see that there's No triangle there on the Early Editions of the EA82, which were made from Mid 1984 to Mid 1986 like that, then came the other style. These mirrors are also Folding mirrors, I learned that on the hard way
  10. Nope. The Original design for JDM was intended to use Fender Mirrors, So the glass at the Doors is Complete, not plastic Triangles there. The Door mounted mirrors came after, for the Non JDM models... My "BumbleBeast" has those also, because is an Early Edition. Kind Regards.
  11. Also, a Quart of Marvel Mystery Oil had worked great in similar cases. Kind Regards.
  12. That place looks like a UFO landing area! Nice Photos, thank you for Sharing. Kind Regards.
  13. Looking Good! The SJR lift block has the letters facing to front, I guess it is because is a 4" Lift? On my "BumbleBeast" the SJR letters are towards outside of the Fender... But those are 2" blocks only; Kind Regards.
  14. The differences might have something to do with the laws of supply and demand, different markets got different editions... in Latin America are much more Touring Wagons than USA, in fact we started to receive Touring Wagons with the second gen Leone (EA81) while those were never offered in USA, also the most used engine on the Third gen Leone, was not the EA82, but the EA71. The EA71 sedans were also Automatics, and front wheel drive was prefered here, than four wheel drive... don't know why, but should be a matter of what people asked more to buy, maybe wanting Cheaper options to compete with Cheaper Nissans, Volkswagens, Toyotas, etc... Kind Regards.
  15. Very respectfully let me Disagree, 0W~20 is for Fuel Economy, but the engine's internals will wear out much faster; the best choice is to seek Balance between Proper Lubrication and Proper oil Cushion, to prevent Shearing. I would use 10W~30 here, in the Caribbean, due to our Permanent warm Weather. Kind Regards.
  16. Yes, it has been posted, long ago. But it doesn't matter. Please continue sharing those photos, in fact 50% of this thread, is a Repost, from the Legendary "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread. Kind Regards.
  17. Then, follow this link: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/152891-recurrent-question-how-to-share-photos-on-your-posts/ Do not forget to share here with us, the results of your Jetting test. It will be interesting to know how Close or Far the Main fuel Jets are on my Weber, Than your Weber, tuned with such interesting device. Kind Regards.
  18. You can Download a .pdf file containing a very interesting Test done in Australia, Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/126284-how-to-determine-which-is-the-best-motor-oil-for-your-car/ Scroll down to find the Download link, Kind Regards.
  19. The LADM and USDM had the Door Mounted mirrors up to 1986, but Subaru sold the other design from late 1986 as 1987 models... Those Door Mounted Mirrors came along the Checkered Style Grille. Kind Regards.
  20. I agree, Valvoline is Great for the Price, and 0W~20 seems to be pretty Thin for the application. What other SAE grades are recommended in the User's Manual? Kind Regards.
