  1. That's Right. I want to add an Advice: Do not try to open the lines without the Safety equipment nor the proper knowledge, because it is a High Risk to your Health to be in contact with the Gas. Take Care. Kind Regards.
  2. This is a Great Project Car for Sure, and 1990 was the Last year for Turbo EA82's Somehow the tires looks to be Awry / Deformed... Was the car sitting for Long time? Kind Regards.
  3. AWESOME! Especially This multi lever / multi relation setup: I'll like to know more info about that, and see the Linkage setup. By the way, also my Li'l Daughter and my Wife, uses the Shifters on my cars, to hold their ponytail's scrunchies. Kind Regards.
  4. So, please Share a couple of Photos with Us. I do not Doubt what you tell, but the Photos will add accurate info to this Database. Kind Regards.
  5. Once again, Thank you for your Kind Words. I'm really Glad that you solved your Hitachi Carb problem. Kind Regards.
  6. Thank you for your Kind Words. If the Rest of the carb is Alright, such mechanical conversion might help a little with acceleration and Low End Torque, but if your Hitachi Carburetor has issues, you Must address them and fix it, prior to do the Mechanical Conversion. Sounds like if your Hitachi Carburetor, might has backwards interchanged Main Fuel Jets, the Bigger one in the Primary (Low) Stage, and the Smaller one on the Secondary (High) Stage, so it worth check it; also check the Choke, it could be sticky. The emmission's stuff has nothing to do with it running Rich, unless some vacuum on the carburetor is misplaced... Kind Regards.
  7. Your Subie is Looking Awesome! Seems like this is a "Popular" fail on our Subies Nowadays: This also happened to my "BumbleBeast" recently... ...Kind Regards.
  8. Yes, or even Better: Modify it to be Mechanically Activated, see: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/147163-mechanical-conversion-on-hitachi-carburetors/ Kind Regards.
  9. Oh my God, that was Extreme! You can ask to this guys to obtain one of those for you: ~► Japan Treasure Hunt. Kind Regards.
  10. Don't have the Original Part Number, but I used these for the Long ones: Which are 8 mm X 80 mm X 1.25 Pitch, found at the Local Napa store. Kind Regards.
  11. No, those keys aren't mine, they belong to Nico: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/126559-retro-gl-10-turbo-build/page-15?do=findComment&comment=1227066 Seems like they were offered in Japan, sometimes they shows on e-bay. Kind Regards.
  12. Welcome! If the Brake switch on the pedal is in good working order and its wirings are alright, then I kindly suggest you to check the Fuse Box for Overheating and / or loose \ melted contacts, because if several electrical components are failing at once, sounds like the problem might be at their power source. Kind Regards.
  13. Mo' info: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/114962-rarest-old-school-subaru-part-or-option/page-11?do=findComment&comment=1222155 Kind Regards.
  14. Yes, these were Super Expensive at the Local Subaru Dealer back then...
  15. So, you had those on a USDM car? ... Nice! Do you have some photos to share with us? Kind Regards.
  16. The Plastic Housings / Glass Lenses' Headlamps with H4 Bulbs were also available in the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market), I've seen it in Honduras on certain 1990+ Loyales, and also the Local Subaru Dealer used to carry them brand New, as spare parts, I wanted to buy a set but it was extremely expensive... now the Subaru Dealer is Gone... Let me show you an Example of those H4 Headlamps from the LADM: The older Style, Metal Housing / Glass Lense, came with 9004 Bulbs. As far as I know, the Plastic ones never were available in the USDM, but the LADM ones are designed for the Left Hand Drive Cars, so they will spread the Correct light beam Pattern, for the USA Roads. You can find them online, at e-Bay: ~► http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUBARU-LEONE-LEFT-HEADLAMP-L-SERIES-01-84-06-94-/181155684402 Kind Regards.
  17. That 1.19:1 relation belongs to the impreza Dual Range transmission, I have seen some of those here, in Honduras. The LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) got same Dual Range EJ Transmissions also, like JDM, EUDM, etc ... as you can see lots of photos and read info, ~► Here. Kind Regards.
  18. Yes, the 1.3L EA65 engine was popular here, in LADM (Latin American Domestic Market), on the Second Gen Leone and the Third Gen Leone / Loyale Sedans. It came mated to a manual trans whose relations made it to feel like it was somehow "Enough" for the Car... However, it never came on Wagons, the smaller displacement on Wagons were 1.6L EA71 engines; the 1.8L were Optional on both generations' lineups. Kind Regards.
  19. My HomeTown is on the Little island of Roatán, But I moved to the Mainland long ago... Kind Regards.
  20. I went yesterday to search at places that sells RustOleum and other equivalent products... ...and couldn't find the Aluminium Primer, only the Standard "Multi Surface" Primers... Kind Regards.
  21. Ten years model Life, The production of the EA82 started in 1984, ended in 1994. Look here for more details: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/15857-chart-of-ea82-changes-throughout-the-years/?p=1259075 Kind Regards.
  22. Yes, Honduras has many ancient Ruins which are Archaeological Parks nowadays, some from the Mayans, and other prehispanic cultures, all very interesting. The main mayan city is "Copan" located at the occidental side of Honduras: ~► https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copán Also there is the Mysterious hidden "Ciudad Blanca" (White City) a Crystal Skull Came from it, is also known as the "Monkey god" City, there is a Book about that: ~► https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Ciudad_Blanca Sorry for Hijack this Thread, I posted much more information of Honduras, here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/87725-an-open-request-to-loyale-27-turbo/ That thread is plenty of Photos. ► Edit: I forgot to share this Short Video that explain why Honduras... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pstBD5BEIo ...is a Small Country, but has three different Wide Worlds. Kind Regards.
  23. Yes, ABS means the Kind of Plastic that was used then, ABS Plastics can last forever on a Car, it is Shame the Pollution Prevention Regulations, require that cars are made with Biodegradable plastics, that is the reason why many wirings' plugs disintegrate and does all kind of wrong things to the cars nowadays... The space about he is writing about, is the one used for the Manual Choke Lever, on the 1.3L (EA65) and 1.6L (EA71) Loyales, yes, I placed the Rocker switch for the Halogens on my "BumbleBeast" in that mere place. Kind Regards.
