You can see the Choke symbol on the lever that fits the place, in this Photo: It could come on any GL or DL as a Dealer Option Fog Lights. Follow the link below, for further information & Photos: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/114962-rarest-old-school-subaru-part-or-option/page-12 Kind Regards.

Exactly, see: ~► http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acrylonitrile_butadiene_styrene By the Way, this: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=15672 Is where the Manual Choke is, on the models that had such Feature. I've seen manual choke on the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Specs EA71 Loyales. Kind Regards.

No 5X100, I did 4X114.3 redrill since 1996. I've redrilled many other local Subarus to 4X114.3 since then... Kind Regards. -
Problem starting

Start by Checking for Fuel Pump Failure, and for Vacuum Leaks. (This thread doesn't belong to the Historic Gen Forums, that's why the Lack of Answers) Kind Regards. -
The Question and the Answer are Redundant. What exactly you want to Know? Differential Ratio, Gear Ratios... Try to be more Specific, please. Kind Regards.

I don't know if the factory 15" wheels in 4X140 pattern, which are intended for Temporary use, could survive a huge pothole bump; those are thin enough to be a Concern, also I bet that the Tire's Lip doesn't seat Completely on that Narrow 5" wide wheels... Do not misunderstand me, it is Not Criticism, but I really believe that what you've done, could be Dangerous. Better get some of these: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/150474-15-4x140-steel-wheels-aa-customs/ Kind Regards.

Help Deciding Loyale's Fate
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Subasaurus's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
That's what I said So, the Fate has been Decided... Kind Regards. -
The dieseling could be "Cured" by doing an internals' Cleansing, usually pouring a complete can of SeaFoam thru a direct vacuum hose on the intake manifold, like the one for the Brake Booster; such cleansing will remove the main carbon deposits that might stay hot enough to start the fire on the combustion chamber, after the engine is Shut off. I Kindly suggest you to Try that and see if the other issues might heal as well. Kind Regards.

Lookin' for a Front Li'l Lift

Dear MR_Loyale, all your Comments are Welcome. And You're Right, the Lift made that 30 years old Rubber to Fail, but Not due to moving Up nor Down, but due to This that I explained before: Kind Regards.- 88 replies

Help Deciding Loyale's Fate
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Subasaurus's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Thank you for your kind words, which I really appreciate. The only real way to know what is Happening to the Engine, is to take it off the car, remove the intake, the Heads and See the truth directly with your Eyes. In the Worst scenario, the Heads might be cracked between the Valves, and under certain circumstances, that could stay like that, even Subaru considered such cracks as "Normal" on these engines; in that case you can send the Heads for Repair, or obtain another ones here in USMB or try e-Bay. But those Subaru engines are pretty Strong, so I bet that maybe after a complete engine Reseal, it could run great again. Kind Regards. -
Help Deciding Loyale's Fate
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Subasaurus's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I would save that Car. I had repaired that Smoke issue on EA82's by Changing the Worn Valves' Seals; the original ones came from factory with Rubber only, but the newer ones, available at the Subaru Dealer, had an inner metal core, covered by Rubber. When those Valve's Seals go wrong, they allows motor oil to get onto the Combustion Chamber, smoking like That. But also bad Headgaskets could cause that... Kind Regards. -
Lookin' for a Front Li'l Lift
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Loyale 2.7 Turbo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yes, That's a Good idea, because it will help a little to dampening vibrations, while keeping the new Solid Shifter feeling that I'm liking. Kind Regards.- 88 replies

Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Loyale 2.7 Turbo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
May I ask if you Dropped the Linkage, without using any Rubber as Vibration Dampening? Right now, my Subaru "BumbleBeast" is working without said Rubber Dampening cube, the Vibrations on the Floor isn't a Problem, in fact I'm Loving how solid the Shifter became with full metal there; but I fear that the Weakest part might get Broken Away, due to the Vibrations... Kind Regards.- 88 replies
