  1. Yes, your "Pig" Subaru looks Awesome. I Like the name you gave to it. Welcome! You Both look like Princesses very respectfully Kind Regards.
  2. I had to Drive my Wife's "KiaStein" this weekend, 'cos I promised a trip to my Family to an Artisans' city, I went there not only to give a trip to my Family, but also to purchase a couple of Honduran Souvenirs to some USMB friends, which I'll send via air mail soon... you know who you are More photos of the Trip, ~► Here. ...so I didn't have enough time to fix my Subie yet. Kind Regards.
  3. Yes, I could order things online easily, Using the services of an Honduran Cargo & Courier Co. in USA, but the main problem is that I don't have enough money, nor time to left my Subie unused in the Garage meanwhile the part comes from USA to Honduras... What I plan, is to do a single metal plate and try with it; if I don't like it or it gives issues, I could drive my Subie like that in the mean time, while waiting for a New replacement... if the part is still available online. Kind Regards.
  4. Yes, there's a Reason for the Rubber Cube to be There... But No, I don't believe it is there to make things on the Shifter linkage, Flexible, because if it Flex to either side, it would have broke away faster and easier, not after 30 years of rude use in Honduran Roads and offroads... In my own humble opinion, the Rubber Cube is there to Absorb Vibrations from the Drivetrain, so you don't feel said vibrations on the Shifter knob.
  5. To Fully understand my Situation, you must Read this Thread, First: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/118040-subaru-is-loosing-dealership-support-on-central-america/ Feel free to comment about this subject, in that thread, to avoid hijacking this one. Kind Regards.
  6. Welcome! The Spark shall be to the Sparkplugs, or Power to the injectors. You must get Readed the OBD II Codes and share them here. Kind Regards.
  7. Here you can see the "KiaStein" nearby one of the Many Windmills That generates Electricity in Honduras.
  8. Which one would you choose, and Why? Kind Regards.
  9. That's what I thought. That's a good idea. I had similar idea of using a thin but long bolt to join everything Back together, But I feel that the Shifter might end being Loose ... and I Dislike loose Shifters. So, I'm Open to ideas now... Kind Regards.
  10. That is a Rubber Cube, joining two metal plates. I will like to know how did you fixed that ... ... I believe that I gonna make a Single metal plate instead. Kind Regards.
  11. That's an Awesome idea Bennie! I bet that the Late 1980's Stars' Badge, which is very close to the Historic Subaru Badge, will fit Great there, with nice contrast between the Chrome of the Badge and the Black Background of the Snorkel; see: This is the Historic Subaru's Badge: This is the Late 1980's EA82 Badge: The 1990+ (Loyale) Badges, got the Stars rearranged to the Newer Pattern, but are identical. A 4.44 Differential Relation? What is the Number on the 4WD 3AT Models? Kind Regards.
  12. I only removed the Upper Rubber boot to do that animation... I'm glad that I can slide myself under my Lifted "BumbleBeast" Despite being a 6 feet tall, 100 Kgs Big Man... Kind Regards.
  13. In another Subject, instead of "What Have You Done to your Soobie lately?" this thread might also be known as "What Happened to your Soobie Lately?" This happened to me, a couple of Hours ago, I was parking my Subie and... ...the Shifter fell off!
  14. Dear Thomas, I bet that your Automatic Transmission is an Advantage to handle those 30" tires, due to the Torque Converter + turbine's inertia... Kind Regards.
  15. I Completely understand and Share that Feeling. I run mine with 25" tires, because I had to daily drive it in my crazy, Extremely Mountainous country, full of hill climbs everywhere, so those tires on Manual trans are in my own humble opinion, the Bigger I could fit there in order to make the wagon still Driveable in High Traffic, with safety... Kind Regards.
  16. Good Job Thomas! ...and Yes, those lug bolts aren't adequate for the application, nor looks good there, in my own Humble opinion... But the SafariWagon Looks Awesome with that Wheel / Tire Combo. Yes! But now You'll need an EJ engine / Manual Trans Swap... Kind Regards.
  17. I've been measuring the amount of Fuel used by this Kia, per mile; by doing a Complete tank fill up and turning to Zero the Mileage counter on the Gas Station during the Filling, then letting my wife to drive the car 'till its Tank is almost Empty, with the Gas Gauge pointing to the "E" and counting how many miles the car does per each 11.5 Gallons fill up. Then once again, turning the counter back to Zero on the Next Fill up... and so on... So, I measured Seven full tanks, prior to do the fuel injectors' Cleanup + Sparkplugs' change; then I've measured already another Seven tanks, since the fuel injector cleanup; let me tell you that the KiaStein was drove only on Mixed City environments, such like Traffic Jams, short Highway cruisings, lots and lots of hill climbings, with the car loaded, doing so many errands, etc... and each fill up took 11.5 US Gallons, which equals to ~ 44 liters of Fuel. Here are the Numbers, for comparison purposes: ► Prior to the injectors' cleanup, it made an Average of 182 Miles (per each fill up of of 11.5 Gallons). ► After the fuel injectors' cleanup, it made an Average of 220 Miles (per each Fill Up of 11.5 Gallons). So it went from ~ 16 Miles per Gallon, to ~ 19 Miles per Gallon, always on City duty. The car is working Flawlessly, except that it keeps needing from two to three key Starts to startup, as I wrote in previous posts. So I added an Extra Ground Wire to the Fuel Pump, just in Case... ...which did Not changed anything at all, I'm still searching for the Cause. Kind Regards.
  18. Your SafariWagon looks Awesome! About those lug nuts, those are intended / designed to fit inside tunnels on the newer style alloy Rims, so the Lugs "Hide" themselves on said tunnels and only the opening for the Hexagonal wrench is Shown. As I Wrote before, I had a set of Rims that used that mere kind of Lug Nuts, those were the five spokes 15" alloys that you can see in this Poll... by the way ...have you voted yet? ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/151383-low-budget-15-wheels-what-do-you-think-of-these/ So, those Lug nuts are somehow "More Thin" than the Normal Lug nuts. Kind Regards.
  19. Do you Know how machine and how to Weld better, Aluminium? I'm not seeking "Beauty" at all, No. The "Looks" doesn't matter much to me... I'm seeking Strong Durability and Peace of Mind, with one less part to be concerned. If wanted car parts to be Beautiful, I Rather be contemplating those at the Museum: Kind Regards.
  20. No. Others post other kind of unuseful things, such like "+1" or "my 0.02 cents" etc... ~► That's why I like the "Like" Button. Kind Regards.
  21. Does someone know the Measurements of these style, Subaru mini center caps? Kind Regards.
  22. Dear Jonno, Thank you for sharing that information. I'll send you an e-Mail right now. Back on Topic: Does somebody have Subaru Mini Center Caps, that fit on the aluminium wheels I have now? If so, let me Know, I will buy 'em from you, if the price is Right Kind Regards.
