  1. Now I understand your situation Better, the Elantra engine is Easier to Fit than the Mitsubishi... I've not tried them yet, because I am searching for options among local shops to Paint with Black Powder coat certain parts of them, but seems like they can paint the whole wheel only... Also, now I would love to find Subaru mini center caps that fits into these wheel's openings... Kind Regards.
  2. By the way, all these wheels features the JWL mark, emblazoned on the Lip: I found that JWL is a set of Standards from Japan, similar to TÜV from Germany and DOT from USA.
  3. So, I measured the Hole's opening for the Mini Center Cap, on these 15" Wheels... ...and the Measurement seems to be Equal or only a Hair of Difference, with the Mini Center Caps' Measurements. The Bigger measurement is for the Opening, and the Smaller is the lip for the mini center cap's Seat at the Wheels. Kind Regards.
  4. About the Subaru's Center Caps on those Nissan wheels... Yes, Good Idea! Thank You! I Really appreciate your kind will of helping me. Yes, you're Right. I don't want to keep respraying that thing over and over again... So I dismiss the Plasti Dip idea for sure. After using Paint Remover and get rid of the Clear Coat, I used dust of crushed stone along wax, in some sort of bead scuffing, to make the Aluminium to be Smooth as Silk. The problem with Powder coating is that there are not too many places here that does that Job, using high temp to "Cook" the paint on the smooth aluminium surface, and as far as I've asked by Phone, they only want to cover All the Wheel's surface, not certain areas Only...
  5. Well, after all day Long polishing the Wheels, this are the Results: I shoot these photos few minutes ago, in the Night, so maybe due to illumination issues they doesn't show how smooth are the Wheels now.
  6. That's an AWESOME idea!!! Let me Measure the Nissan ones I have: Thank you for Sharing the Measurements of the Subaru's Mini Center Caps! Do you Believe that Those might Fit good there? If so, I want to buy a Set! Kind Regards.
  7. Thanks for the idea. Yes, you're Right. Yesterday I only gave them a good Cleansing with a can of engine degreaser, then Washed them Clean with Household Detergent and Water, they're drying at the sun now. Then I'll polish them 'till remove the clearcoat paint they have. Those wheels really looks straight and Healthy for their age. Maybe I'll let them silver... Don't know exactly how those wheels on silver colour will look, on the Radioactive Yellow Body, but maybe I'll try them like that, mainly because I can Not find here in Honduras, the Plasti Dip paint, and I don't know how durable could be, the Powdercoating on polished aluminium surfaces. Could someone share their experiences with Powdercoating on Polished Aluminium, Please?
  8. So, these are 15" rims, 6" wide and 40 offset, they're perfect for the old-school Wagon. All I can tell from checking them now, is that someone gave a ClearCoat paint to them, Which is peeling off now; also one is missing the mini center cap, which says Nissan... Maybe I'll remove that center cap from all of them... do you know what could fit there? This Week's plan is to do a Deep Cleansing and Polishing all them... Also I'll clean & polish my Spare wheel, which is identical, and doesn't have its center cap too... Kind Regards.
  9. You want to use a 2.0L engine from the Hyundai Elantra on your Hyundai Excel... I've seen Elantras with Mitsubishi Engines ... many Hyundais are based upon Mitsubishis
  10. Yes, I'm Lawyer ... ... my lawyer side always shows up somehow. And no, I haven't seen that movie... So, around $ 200.ºº in USA? Wow, that's Expensive... Kind Regards.
  11. Why don't you ask him for a couple of Photos? Kind Regards.
  12. I'm not completely Sure... seems like Hondurans are using tail lights that were intended for the older Toyota HiLux: ~► http://www.ebay.com/itm/1989-1995-TOYOTA-PICKUP-HILUX-TRUCK-TAIL-LIGHTS-SMOKE-1990-1991-1992-1993-1994-/271796162794?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f485050ea&vxp=mtr The best idea for fitting, is to take measurements of the area on the Brat, and compare those with different Toyota's Tail Lights, untill you find a suitable replacement. Maybe the fitting is not perfect, but isn't noticeable. Kind Regards.
  13. 614,000 Miles on the EA82? ... Awesome! You forgot to share Photos of that Car and its Odometer here. Kind Regards.
  14. Thank you Nico, I Really appreciate your kind words. My Subaru "BumbleBeast" will never be as nice as yours. I had to sell those five spokes wheels that appears on the "Real Photo" Please follow the link on the post above, for further details... Maybe you want to Vote on the Poll Kind Regards.
  15. That's a Great Thread on the Subject, which worth to be continued, filled by the new members. Also, let me "Direct you attention" to the old "Subaru High Mileage Club" here: ~► http://www.subaruhighmileageclub.com/ Kind Regards.
  16. Welcome! Let me Quote an Old post here: You want something that Might look like That? Kind Regards.
  17. I don't felt this "Made in Honduras" part to be Expensive, if you consider that it is around twice as thick and strong than the original part, plus made of great quality, industrial strength Aluminium, it doesn't corrode; so it will outlast the whole car for sure. The engineer who did that part, only asked around the Equivalent to $ 30.ºº US Dollars, in our local currency, the "Lempíra" How much does cost a similar part made like that, in USA? Kind Regards.
  18. May I ask which tool is Needed to turn those Lugs? ... it Doesn't look clear on the Photo. The "Bling-Bling" rims I used to have on my Subaru "BumbleBeast" had internal Hexagonal holes, which I disliked somehow... Can't wait to see your New Rims / Tires \ lugs mounted. Kind Regards.
  19. In my own humble opinion, those aftermarket cold air intake filters, makes the engines noisier and could allow more dust to go in the combustion chamber... That could mean to shorten the engine life, due to the extra wear. I suggest you to stay with the stock air filter instead. Kind Regards.
