  1. Yes, I done that in year 1996. Since then my Subaru "BumbleBeast" has been working Flawlessly. First I done it to the old rear drums, then I went with Rear Discs. Here are a couple of photos for you: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122276-the-bumble-beast/?do=findComment&comment=1044257 Kind Regards.
  2. All the info & Photos, Here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/50983-strange-and-weird-subaru-stuff/page-54?do=findComment&comment=1083704 Kind Regards.
  3. In fact they did... as Prototype: The Subaru Suiren. Look at the Legendary "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread for photos. Kind Regards.
  4. Sounds like missing ground wire... Have you check the wiring for the Relays? ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/87523-how-to-swap-the-old-roundie-relays-with-standard-bosch-relays/ Kind Regards.
  5. After all the paintings were done... ...I finished the Reassembly and Reinstall yesterday... ...on Christmas eve!

  7. Merry Christmas to you all!!! http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/66489-happy-holidays-with-pics/page-4 Greetings from Honduras.
  8. Yes, you're right. My "BumbleBeast" has Power Locks & Power Windows, while the given Door has manual everything, in this case, only the door's metal body and certain plastics are equal, But the interior parts are swappable between each other. Kind Regards.
  9. Are you viewing the images on your Computer or on a mobile phone?
  10. What Have I Done to my Soobie lately? I've fixing a small hit given to the rear passenger door, of my beloved Subaru "BumbleBeast" and re-painting that door. The one who hit it, gave me another used door from a Junk Yard, and it has a smaller Glass, as you can see here: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/150872-different-glass-sizes-%E2%96%BA-ea82-rear-passengers-doors/
  11. So, the given door will be stored as is ... maybe I could sell it to another subaru owner in need of one with manual crank window; by the way, mine has Power Window and Power Lock. I accepted that door, thinking that the Glass might be useful someday, because it came without door card, handle and plastics. But since I discovered the difference on the Glasses, (that door shall came from a Sedan EA82) now I know that nothing on that door could be useful for me at all, except the metal body perhaps. Kind Regards.
  12. But I compared my Door with the Given Door, side by Side... (here a Friend is holding it for the photo) ...and I noticed the great difference between the Glasses' Size.
  13. I removed the current Door from my Subie, fixed the small hit... ...which was on the Grey area, and prepared everything for painting.
  14. I went on my beloved Subaru "BumbleBeast" to hunt for a Car's part (that I needed to fix someone else's car), to a local Junk Yard, fifteen minutes after I parked outside, someone came driving violently and was the mere junk yard's owner, he hit with his car, a little on my passenger's side rear door while parking; so after a small talking, he gave me as payment, a whole used door for a Subaru of similar vintage, that he had on the inventory. ► Underlined words are web links with further info & photos on the subject.
  15. Thank you for your Kind Response, That was what I thought, but I wanted to be Sure.
  16. Nice Photos of a Nice Family Adventure in a Nice Subaru!!! Thank you for Sharing. Kind Regards.
  17. I found that there are two different sizes for the rear Door's Glass, Is the Sedan's Glass, smaller than the Wagon's Glass? No matter that the Door size itself, is equal. Kind Regards.
  18. That means that you also saw the photos distorted on a Regular Computer's Screen? Kind Regards.
  19. Have you checked the ignition timing at the Distributor? It worth playing a little with it in the Trial & Error mode. I advanced the timing on my "BumbleBeast" from the stock 8º for carbureted models, Up to 20º like in the EFi models, and has been working awesome like that. Kind Regards.
  20. Well... it is a relief to know that this is not only me that is having such issues. Now I copied one of the images' URL address and pasted on a new tab, and that displays the photo correctly but Enormous! I bet that the stretching is done by the Forum's software, trying to fit such an enormous photo, on the size of a post's area. Kind Regards.
  21. Both are exactly the same Great Quality. In fact, I've used Flösser, Franz, Sylvania, Osram... All German Bulbs are simply the very Best Bulbs available. Kind Regards.
  22. Maybe those are still available at your Local Subaru Dealer? You can see photos of those rear adjustable struts and their part number, Also the part number for the Perch (Sold separately) in this Writeup: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/106807-improved-shock-absorbers-and-spring-coils-on-loyales/ Kind Regards.
