  1. hey. hows it going, im kinda local... anyway i was wondering if you or any other forum members wana try meet up at effendal pass in tahuya o.r.v. over the weekend?

  2. SCOTT, You have the turbo car finished??! How did it do?? According to the damage report, it must have done well! Nice pictures! Dylan
  3. I would like to go, but I can't make it this time. That is my birthday weekend (24th) and I have plans with my family already... I'll be coming out to subie night soon though! Dylan
  4. Hmm.. maybe I'll do that if nobody has one. I can cut it out on the waterjet at school though, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks! Dylan
  5. So Scott got me to thinking... I have a few weber carbs laying around off of bmw's. I think I'll rebuild one and put it on my ea81. I was wondering if anybody has some sort of CAD file for the adapter plate. Thanks, Dylan
  6. Hey Scott, This week is finals week:eek: But after that is spring break! I wouldn't mind coming out for a morning or two before work and helping out (and returning your spare) and just visiting... Lemme know if you'll be around at all! Dylan
  7. So shop night is on Thursdays now? I just ran into Mosiah at Wal-Mart and he filled me in. Unfortunatly, I'm at work 7 days a week now (on top of going to school) until my blackjack training is finished. Then I will have more time for shop night and subaru's and whatnot since I will be working part time. Can't wait to get back into the subie...
  8. Does anybody have a repair manual with this torque setting listed? '85 DL 1.8L 5sp. Crank pulley bolt. in the rain!! Yippie... thanks
  9. So I found my camera, and there were some pics of shop night before the Walker valley trip: Notice: Larger tire going on (Scott's side) Smaller tire coming off (My side) We had to beat the fenders out a bit so the wheels didn't rub. This picture is cool because you see exactly what the front of my car looked like before the trip.
  10. Happy Birthday Scott We are going to make it over for probably just an hour or so. See you soon!
  11. Hey Scott, are you going to be around tomorrow night?
  12. Don't forget the full sized spare!
  13. Scott's car only made it up the bypass, which was challenging enough. For any of us to try the main trail, it would have been suicide.
  14. This seems like it is getting a little out of hand. I have never been to Walker before this trip, but Scott said it looked different than last time he went. I'm sure with all the rain the trail has eroded and exposed more of the rock face. We watched SEVERAL vehicles that were 100 times more equipped than our subies fail while trying to go up this. Even with a transfer case, there would be no way for a subie to get up that part without a winch. We didn't make the bypass, it was already there. And from what I understand, it was there last time they went too. It was also still very challenging. I had to get pulled up it after several failed attempts, and it took Scott several tries to make it to the top. Even next time we go, I'll still use the bypass. I have no desire to even attempt the other way.
