its a sway bar that uses a torsion spring from a toyota pickup and locking hubs to disconnect and reconnect. they work awesome with proper leverage, and are dirt cheap to make -

where at in montana is the car? i would be glad to help make it drivable for you -
i moved from 500 foot to 3500 foot ive noticed the legacy seems to get better gas milage, yay but at 500 foot the motor draws 22lbs of vacuum at idle at 3500 its only 18- this indicates it may be working a wee bit harder, or maybe running rich?? im not sure, i want it to run as good as possible, and return the best MPGS possible- is there anything the pros would recomend for a fairly substantial altitude change?

ive discovered bill and i share the same tastes good work man, in a few ill be oredering a bell house as well, im itching to put my legacy on 40 inch rubbers
-
the fronts are a direct fit, but the rears require a little work with a dremil, ive done it, not too bad
-
-
the front will work, the rears would need to have the hole elongated, or new holes drilled, very easy to do outback/forester struts are the same, forester springs however offer a slightly higher spring rate
-
ok, only have two sets left on this run

i d be glad to offer a 15 degree version.- will require ,more work tough but let me tell you about some testing we did -this is a bone stock 92 wagon awd, not my lifted 91 we put the car on the alignment rack at les schwab, and took priliminary readings initial drive in camber was 0.4 negative, well withing acceptable specs. i then had the tech lift the car exactly 1 inch, lifting from the center, not the control arms- this simulated the 1 inch lift, the computer fluctuated between .3 and .4 negative, so no signifucant change so we went another inch, it now read .1 negative, still minimall change we went to three inches total lift, and it read .2 positive all these readings are within spec, and easily moved with the factory alignment eccentrics this is about as thorough a test i can provide, unless you have suggestions. bottom line is- im not a douche that "wants mudders on my car, huh huh" i thought this out, tested, and did the best i could to provide something that in the end would not only accomplish the deired lift, but be safe enough for my kids and wife to drive around.
