  1. Liter seems a little big for the glass shown. Possibly it's a half-liter (about 17 oz)?
  2. Paper towels or a couple of rags. Always good for wiping your hands off after..uh, anything.
  3. Maybe by then more of the snow will be gone from around Tahoe, and the trails will be open..much more scenic:) . I'll check and report, as time allows.
  4. Great stuff!! The Vortex made it look easy:cool: .
  5. Actually, I may be travelling that route, if I can get another Sube to travel with. I-5 is 100 miles out of my way, I'd like to have a more direct route to WCSS (You reading this Brian:) ?).
  6. Sure, the restaurant in Reno was lots of fun (closed now), Las Vegas (Sahara Ave.) is much bigger and more boisterous, but kind of touristy. Hooters in Phoenix is a regular meeting place for my former college buddies and me..always a good time there. Good burgers, too.
  7. Hey Rallyruss, I got a good clutch for my Mustang (some years ago) at "San Jose Friction Materials", I believe they were near downtown, like Park Ave., or maybe Julian St., near where the Arena is now (very foggy on this).
  8. Yeah, I've had good luck with SOA clutches. Everything fit nicely without problems, and the Subaru dealer's price was lower than Smothers and a few other local parts places (Santa Rosa).
  9. Funny you should mention that. I had the exact same symptoms for the last few months. Somehow my inner joint was leaking grease all over my tranny (and of course the exhaust..pee-oo!). I wasn't getting the usual CV noises, and since the shaft was recently installed, I ruled that out as the source of the noise and instead thought it was the tranny. Last week, I tore the outer boot on the same axle, and of course grease was flying around at that end of the shaft now, too. I replaced the axle, and voila! The noise was gone (and no more flinging grease). Not a guarantee that'll fix your problem, I was surprised it worked for me..good luck.
  10. Right now it's chains or snows over most of the passes. Watch out for the tourists!
  11. Can't hit the slopes tomorrow, but I can tell you that we got about 4" of snow so far (7PM), and it's still falling. Big flakes, too:D. Not all that cold out though, it's coming down kind of wet-like.
  12. Lots of wrecking yards along Broadway Ave.(South PHX), just west of Central, IIRC.
  13. Could be a tire making the noise. The rear wheel(s) may have been knocked out of alignment because of the impact.
  14. I've been leasing cars (mostly Acuras and Toyotas) using that logic, for years. I usually don't get that thorough on my explanation, but very close. Works for me. The real key is to get cars that hold their value, as stated above. Doesn't work on GM cars.
  15. Delivering stuff in PHX is easy. The streets are laid out and numbered in a way that makes it almost impossible to get lost. Where are you going to school?
  16. Heh..I was just thinking of buzzing by the Carson City yard to pick up a couple of doodads..thanks for the heads up, I can wait 'til then.
  17. Paul (Moosens), you crack me up: "I once changed a rear wheel bearing on a half hour ferry ride and got the job done and tools put away with time for a coffee before disembarking."
  18. Yeah, Dixie cups..that's what I was thinking. I'll concentrate on exotic stuff from the local area here, and some I've never seen before. Mostly dark stouts and the like for me:cool: .
  19. Mine had the same symptoms. Turned out the DOJ was getting so bad, it was eventually undriveable. Replaced the axle, voila..problem solved.
  20. Lesbaru, I'm with ya. Whenever the cheapo seatcovers get dirty or I just want to change the "look", it's the way to go (I usually get mine at Kragen) .
  21. "if we go a hair over 55mph it starts to sway and BADLY!! " Why not try towing SLOWER?
