  1. Connie, I was mostly kidding really, as Jess and I are also planning a JY run here in a few weeks. I would gladly join the party, but I cant get away this sunday:-\ Im actually thinking about taking a PENSKE van down and loading it up! (I really do need two EJ22s, and I think all that weight might be a bit much for Trusty Rusty:grin:
  2. Ill take two ej22s (with all wiring and exhaust please) Also both front fenders and a rear hatch for my '93 legacy if you have extra time. Lemme know what it comes to and Ill send you the $$
  3. What are you callin a POS? (mine makes yours look gooooood!) While were on the topic though, who DOES make lift blocks? I could snag some struts/springs from the JY if the 2" blocks werent too pricy. (Id LOVE to do my '95!)
  4. Anything beats having a Jeep (I really DO think that you could get plows for them though!) Now I must search, its killin me.
  5. ....only you would come up with that! In all seriousness, MY baja used to do the same thing. I never worried (too) much about it.
  6. Last week my cousin trashed the motor in his 99 forester. (NOT his fault) Anyway, the vehicle being paid off..... and a motor swap needed, (we're gonna go EJ22 for less headaches I think) I said that this might be the perfect time to do some other mods. I know Ive seen a couple foresters on here that were lifted (cant find pics though) Its just a spring lift thats available at this point, right? Suggestions? opinions? .........(INFORMED opinions?) Thanks!
  7. That picture has been kicking around for several years now..... but Ive wished it was mine ever since I first saw it! Also, correct me if im wrong, but didnt the late 70s and 80s subies have an optional "snow plow" attachment for REAL?
  8. I find this is true on almost all of GMs sedans. The rear seats are an after-thought (more like no-thought actually) Incidentally, I rent out a few Cobalts where I work, and folks dont complain TOO much. YEP.... pretty much a done-over cavalier.
  9. U gonna put a mowing deck on that baby?! (VERY nice work!)
  10. That is hotness! wheel it like you stole it
  11. I just sold my '03. I would say that demand for these little trucks is not high, but those who want one are willing to pay for it. That fact alone is keeping the price high in MY area at least.
  12. I was always thinking more of attaching the diff hangar (greatly reinforced) to the rear hubs, and then changing the suspension a bit. *shrugs* ..... I still dont know:confused:
  13. Ive had this idea as well for about a year now. Everytime I think about it again, I think...... nah, way too much work! If you DO make the mod though ...... pics please!
  14. Thanks! .... actually, my neighbor has one of those! (only one Ive ever seen!)
  15. I think it looks like much more of a "truck" now if you ask me  Just had to share!
  16. mmmmmmm ...... Harry's:slobber: :slobber: You must be a sube owner if you think this looks like heaven on earth!
  17. Ouch. Yeah, thats pretty much the problem here in NY I think. I was just gonna suggest a straight-up Harry's run, but I remembered all our conversations before about "next meet is at Backwoodsboy's place" I live with my folks still, so camping is gonna be the best option for a meet up here.
  18. Thanks for posting this. That has to be..... nay, IS the nicest BRAT Ive EVER SEEN! Wow.
  19. Ok boys and girls..... Itll soon be fall, so Im just gonna toss this out there. Whos interested in doing a northeast sube meet? For anyone not real hung-up on having "modern amenities" there is a state park near me that is open year round, and in the fast approaching "off-season" you can camp for FREE!!! (rustic camping with pit-toilets) Its called "Hunt's Pond State Park" if y'all wanna look it up, and is approx one hour north of Binghamton NY. Nearby state land abounds with nice trails for some wheeling, and there ARE quicky-marts (and a NAPA) fairly close by for anything you or your subie might need. **OR** I would also be up for a run in the Hazleton off road park/and a trip to Harrys Upull it like we were gonna do last year..... Thoughts/questions ....... DATES?
  20. +1 Give 'er the old clean out with some seafoam or Marvel Mystery Oil. Switch to the cheaper stuff after that. Also might not hurt to re-set your computer as well....
  21. I fit 29s on my 4" lifted '86 brat. Of course.... the bottom edge of my fender is almost non-existant from trimming, and I had to re-set my door hinges because of the fenderwall bashing ......you can do it!
