  1. I just checked.....the timing BELT #s are the same the IDLER #s are different! I thought an EJ22 was an EJ22!?
  2. Hey all, I recently did the timing belt on my '93 legacy with the kit from Gates. Now I go to order the Gates kit again for my girlfriend's '95 legacy (also non-interference) .....and they are showing a different *and more expensive* kit for a 95 vs. a 93. Are they assuming all 95 2.2s are interference, thus the different kit? Her '95 is a 5MT ....so I KNOW its not interference. Shouldnt I be fine with the '93 kit? Thanks!
  3. Yeah, Ill second (or third) for crappy silver accel coils. I have one that came with my brat, and I never noticed ANY power difference from the stock coil.
  4. Heres a few from friday afternoon when we all started filtering in. I STILL say we had the best friggin spot on the grounds!

  7. Darlingchip and I are bringing the Coleman stove, cookware, coffee pot and coffee, bottled water, and *some* food. Planning to leave *about* noon.... that should put us down there at about 4 pm. (ish)
  8. Jess and I were debating on chips and dip too..... Veggie snacks are good (I just dont like celery) and are better for you than porking out on sweet rolls all day!
  9. Man! Thats a NICE looking Loyale! My first car was also 500.00 ....but nothing like that nice shiny roo! +1 for ladies in subarus
  10. Yup. Aluminum is wonderful stuff to work with. 15 minutes, a sawzall, a file, and some self-tapping screws!
  11. Hmmmm.... I didnt know that. In THAT case, I have and EA81 starter all ready to go! You want me to ship that bad boy?
  12. How much work is it to take the starter off an ea82? I have a "parts wagon" that is Bucky's (very rusty) clone....well, except its 4WD. Anyway, its a M/T, and the starter is good. I could pull it, and priority mail that baby up to ya. Do you think it would get there in time if I sent it tuesday AM? Lemme know
  13. I just printed out the numbered carlisle aerial map and was looking at the spots. Where do they usually hide us subaru folks?:-p -Just curious
  14. I just put one in MY brat.... so I know how much work it is:grin: Looks good! (lets see some 29's on that baby!)
  15. Even though Im excited to be bringing my offroad, mud-covered brat.... I still hold to the saying "I dont bring my car, my CAR brings ME" Paul is right.....just showin up is the most important thing. Although Id love to see Bucky too!
  16. I LOVE IT! That just rocks. Just about 1 more week till Carlisle
  17. My folks bought a 1983 wagon in 1985 that was "gently used" and in excellent shape (no rust) Not even 7 years later....my dad couldnt get it through "lick it and stick it" NYS inspection because the guy knew us all, and said the car wasnt safe to drive or ride in:dead: It wasnt.
  18. I know this is the way of things in the northeast...... but its just too friggin sad! :-\ I HATE SALT:mad:
  19. I know in PA they dont sell alcohol at the convenience stores like in NY:-\ Personally, I really dont even drink, but I was down for fall Carlisle last year, and my buddy wanted to go out and get somethin for himself. He had a HECK of a time! Youve gotta buy beer at a bar in PA....and at 9-somethin at night on a weekend.... all the friggin bars were closed! (he was pissed) My .02
