i bet u said whoops...lol

junkyard wars did several times... bugs dont float stock.. subarus do... foam in the fenders, bumpers, under carrage, and if i can, frame rails ought to make it float pretty well...if i can set up a prop from the diff, than that'd be great, but if i cant, than ill probably put a big trolling motor on the back that can be removed... possibly a small gas motor....
-
haha... dont worry.. thats first addition
-
i didnt think about that.... how much do u think that'd cost, and how likely wold i be to break.... what coul i use to seal it to... i figured a cv boot over some of the grease that i would have used between the hull and the motor and prop...
-
i figured i should be able to keep it above the windowline...

when i get my wagon, im thinking of setting it up for deep water, but with a twist... fill the front and rear fenders up with foam (like the stuff they used in monster garage) get the doors so they dont leak at all, and stick a BIG electric motor and prop (or jetski pump) on the back... than i can go ANYWHERE...lol

i heard froma friend that it would probably take alot of work to make a baja strong enough... on trucks, the host was in sand in one, and he turned and the springs snapped....

would putting a transfer case from a better 4 wheel drive system be better (such as nissan or toyota)? we found one on craigslist in austin... they have a corrola and legacy (legacy needs alil work... oil leak, cv boot lil stuff.) for 1000... that way me and my sis can have a car for each of us...

we're not bad on rust, but to find truck (much less car) that had been optioned for 4 wheel drive is a bit hard to find... but im sure one will turn up... my dad works w/ the local auto auction.

ok, im 16 i have an 83 bmw 320i, but it is pretty much done w/ running for a while... i need a 4x4 for the beach and messing around at the local orv park...any suggestions? i need something under a thousand bucks, has 4 wheel drive, can make it on a VERY unforgiving beach, and has alot of space (so pretty much limited to wagon or long hatchback)
