ME TOO that would be the greatest thing subaru done sice the 80s -
oh that may help i am try to use the fuseable links box on the donor wiring harness could that be my problem it dose not say any thing about this in the conversion manual and all i stipped off the harness was the lights and fuse box could that be my problem

yes i have the starter hooked up and on go i'll check the ground pins aging today I've got til next monday when my spring break is over i hope i can get i together by then i don't like driving the 80 sedan up and down my ant's rough driveway to collage or the 60 mile round trip thats 300 miles just to school and back each week adds up fast on a car with 70k on it the conversion i done before was the whole wiring harness but my dad done most of it when i was gone to collage last year because of the wagon caught on fire and burnout must of the wiring under the dash while he was driving it if he was still live to help i would problely have it done now that i have been working on it for two weeks now so, thanks for any help you can give ps i am the ecm and motor conversion only i am not doing the whole wiring harness in less i have to

it is a 86 5spd 4wd sedan i picked up about 9 months ago with carb trouble so, i decided to convert it over to spfi a few weeks ago. well to get it the point i have all of the conversion done but i can't get it to run have power at pins 27,29.41 and 49 have grounds at all the grounded pins but no power to feul pump. feul and ingition relays are good have check them. no trouble code light on the ecm don't know what to do next please help p.s this is not my first conversion and the donor car is a 91 2wd auto

yes bottom end anyway the cars been in the family since it was new and regularly made cross country trips to the west coast and alaska till it was wrecked in 2001 then i bought it and started puting it back together it finally got back on the road a year ago since then 24,000 miles have been add to its ticker -
what do i do to post my wagon on the high milage site i think its about time for one to be in the over 400,000 mile class and i owuld like to post my wagon now that its rolled over 559,000 miles

mine has a slow leak from the same place so i would like to know the difficultily in finding the gasket that be said i guess i need to replace mine before i gets to bad -
is there any other options for the ecu i would to get aftermarket unit to get a few more ponys out of the wagon before the lift this spring

I've seen them for v8s but will they help out our roo's i am curretly making a set for my wagon so what will be the gains i can get by adding them just would like to know if it would help

My 80 seden is Old Blue because of the years of loyality it has given me My 86 d/r wagon Precilla in memory girlfriend that was killed in march 2003 thanks to her 99 honda accord and a drunk driver only if she would have took my 84 turbowagon she would of problily been with us still today this is why i have such a hate for hondas their unsafe and poorly construted cars my wagon or brat that i had would of easily stood a 35mh crash head on at a stop sign

in my 86 wagon get 26.3 city and 30.9 hiway I have own many subarus and this one for wagons i think is about the norm so, I wanted to know how the rest of the boards cars do for the the project that the engieering class is doing on fuel econamy so, could i have your help thanks Isial

my 80 1800 auto gl sedan has the same problem and its had 4 sending units put on it in the past 2 years its oil pressure at idle is 26psi and about 80psi at 3500rpm with a manual gauge so the sending unit and dash are right seeing as i didn't drive it right now its ok but when it becomes the daily driver aging it will get changed.

thanks pics will come soon i really need to update the one i have already posted when i posted them they were a year old. i also need need to repost the ones i had of my old turbo wagon on the old board it had a 4in lift and 5spd d/r so i am not new to this i just didn't have the time to keep with the board now that im' in collage the lift will take place this after i gradute with general enginnering tech degree but i want to know now because i am make the blocks for the front struts right now and would like your ideas on the other parts of the lift kit form those that have done this lift on there ea81 cars.

its a 86 5 spd d/r wagon with mild mods done to the engine. i have the basic know how and equipment to do the mod. all i nto know is the time it would to do such a mod and the fitment alinment mods done to the frontend and Suspension.

it is on the pass side about 1ft infront of the tank on it plate/bracket there is 3 12mm bolts on the bottom that come and it drops down the relay is under the dash right in front of the computer ones the pump the is the switch theres a fuse in the fuse box for the pump the box is on the bottom of the dash on the drivers left. 15 amp.

my 86 5spd d/r wagon has quite a bit of slop in it is there a quick fix for it i can make brass brushings at work if need be
