  1. My car used to do that and it ended up being a bent key. I had to jiggle it and it would work, but the replacement is only $2, so I just got a new one.
  2. Actually I just went to the Subaru dealer and their system showed that my car had 2 O2 sensors? One in from for air/fuel, and one in back for just oxygen. And he looked up the part with my VIN number, so I assume he's correct, but I thought it only had one as well.... ???
  3. So if I get the OEM replacement, the connectors come with them?? I'm sorry, just a bit confused. I'm a car newbie.
  4. Hi, I need to replace my O2 sensor on my Scoob, so I looked up some prices online. This is when I got confused. There's one for 2 wires, 3 wires, 4 wires, etc. Can anyone tell me how many wires my Scoob's O2 sensor has without me having to physically pull it out myself and look (I don't have a lot of free time). Also the best price you might have found? It's a 1993 Subaru Impreza L 1.8L sedan. Thanks!
  5. Ah, ok, so I took it to a pro. Got a rotation, balancing, and alignment (partial). I say partial because the camber is pretty screwed up from my little run off the road incident. Something needs to be fixed in there. I don't have the money, so I told them I'd worry about that when I get new tires. But with the B & R and fixing the toe, it's is sooo much better to drive. Not perfect, but tolerable now.
  6. ************, if this was father in advance, I'd love to. Oh well, next time, right?
  7. Can someone explain to me why they call them Legacy Outbacks? I saw one at the dealership, so I've seen them. But I thought Outbacks were the wagons?
  8. If it's recommended, I would use Premium. Period. It's recommended for a reason; my guess is because that's the type of gasoline that helps it acheive its peak performance.
  9. No one understands my obsession. The closest someone has come is my husband. I got him hooked on a WRX wagon:headbang:
  10. I'm learning how to do that either this week or next week in school. I want to do it myself, so we'll see:)
  11. It has gotten A FULL tune up, oil change. Belts, hoses, spark plugs and wires, new ignition switch, air filter, fuel filter. Might be something Im missing.
  12. Plugs and wires are fine guys, I told you I checked them. I'm going to try a rotation and wheel balancing.
  13. Isnt The River the one where AZ is on one side and Cali is on the other?
  14. Thanks for the suggestion, but Im flat broke right now. Maybe when I get some cash Ill look for those again
  15. Cool, I have a friend who lives in Parker.
  16. Mostly going in cold. My dad always taught me simple things like to check fluids, tire pressure, identifying makes and models, etc. Most of what I have are book smarts and a huge love for cars and Subaru.
  17. I saw some schools in my search that were not just Auto specific for AET. Many state universities have the program I believe. The University of Arizona does I think, as well as one in Detroit
