replacing heater core Q's
clantieri replied to heartless's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I don't know about ea-82's, but my ea-81 has two rubber hoses INSIDE the car where the heater control valve (the part that sticks through the firewall) connects to the heater core. These rubber hoses may have clamps on them. Those may be the clamps that thealleyboy is talking about. Maybe you'll get lucky and those clamps are loose...good luck. Chris -
I would like 3-4 calenders. Please e-mail info when you have it. chris6474 at cox dot net Chris

How to open hood with busted hood latch
clantieri replied to blaster88's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Pull of the grille, you may have to bust it off. Find the cable with a pair of needle nose and pull it. It is to the right of the latch. I've done both. EA-82 you have to bust the grille, EA-81, easier, no busting. Chris -
"Lola" needs your help please
clantieri replied to Twowagons's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Trudy, I have a extra rear defrost button out of an 82. E-mail me your address and I'll stick it in an envelope if you want it to see if that fixes the "jiggling". Chris
