  2. we only have 95, 98 and 100 octane fuel here in iceland...... it´s expensive though. i start smelling heat from my 93 legacy 2,2 4EAT at around 7000Rpm
  3. well last year august was the hottest month with a peak of 32°c adn no convertibles ar not comon sight here in iceland but still there is one and one garaged sumwhere. well we ar getting a little off-topic here so i´l stop talking about icelandic weather.

  5. my dad just bought a 1997 outback 2,5 and thad little outback emblem from the grill is missing : i´ts thad little one on the right hand side og the grill. any ideas about where i could find one ? i´we tried e-bay and nothing so far. thank´s, oskar k.
  6. well thad´s just bull***** i have black hair and dark brown eyes as most Icelanders are a mix of blond, brown and red hair and brown, green or blue eyes and generaly icelanders are pritty tall. (maybe thads wy all wagons thad came here had a raised roofline ??) Winter in Iceland isn't really that cold compaired to some places in the USA. But Icelandic weather changes a lot very quickly, it can be sunny and calm but 2 hours later everything's white and 2 hours after that it's sunny again and i wanted to ask you.... is it the SOHC or the Twincam motors thad have this problom with the heat gaskets ?
  7. not as hard as you think .... while the winters here are pritty cold, in the summer the sun does not set becose how far north we are, so around christmas we hardly get any sun. so the heat here easaly gets to 100 deg. in the summer and yes all the subarus in iceland imported by a dealership are made in japan but there are a few e-bay cars here from usa

  11. the guys on discovery on mythbusters poured an egg into a radiator with a pritty big hole in it and it stops the leak without causing any damage to the engine
  12. 1993 legacy sedan with: H6 3,3 two turbos STi drivetrain orginal 15" wheels no hood skoop front mounted black intercooler (so its not easily seen) a BIG VTEC sticker in the back window

  14. i´ts a late 1993 GX the GX came with some features ower the GL heated seats 2,2 engine (GL was 2,0) leather steering wheel sunroof ABS system aluminium wheels (not the ones in the pics) the legacy badge over the rear number plate power antenna other seats (stiffer and more sporty) other interior color AND the air suspension i wanted to keep but this car has regular struts now as for the colour i dont know what the name of i´t is and here in iceland all legacy wagons kame with the raised roof line (all older wagons too ) Oskar k.
  15. hi there , i´m new here and i just wanted to intreduce my self : my name is Oskar k. and i´m from iceland. i´m 15 years old and i have a 1993 legacy 2,2 wagon automatic (witch i am hoping to mod a litle........) the mods i was thinking about where : the 50/50 4wd mode mount 4 hella 500 foglihts on the bumper raise the suspension about 4-5 cm and make some skidplates for the oil pan and diff and if i have time i am also thinking aboute swapping the auto trans for a 5-speed so if you have any ideas or oppinion on my mods help is always welcomed..... sorry for my bad english oskar k.

  17. the hill holder is to help you engage the clutch without having to stand on the brake (so you don´t need 3 legs ) but on an auto you only have 2 pedals so i don´t see how a hill holder culd help oskar k.
