  1. opps my bad, havent looked at your site lately. true they are $400 but what is shipping?so 5-600 and they dont even have tires.(depending on shipping rates)
  2. at 6-7 1/2 hours away I wouldnt be able to make it.I havent even taken my subi more than 45 miles from my house.
  3. AA wheels are good, being that they were designed for offroad subarus. However at over $600 with no tires is not really a good deal.instead go with 4x4 chevy or toyata rims. You have two options here drill the hubs to fit the wheels or drill the wheels to fit the hubs(my favorite becuase only 2 holes needs to be drilled in each wheel as opposed to drilling four in the hubs)However if you drill the hubs it looks cleaner because there are no empty holes.it come down to this if you decide to do it: weaken the rims or weaken the hubs.I have some 15X7 wheels that are rated for 5500lbs(each) so redrilling them should make them rated for like 2500lbs per wheel.that alone is worth more than the car...
  4. need a 1/4" bumper or slower speeds.PICS of the carnage?
  5. in narrow spots use the clutch and 4lo to get through not throttle!!!! try a toilet plunger and see if it will pull the dents out.
  6. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29778 you will find a couple of threads in that topic that have all the info on what vehicles that have them.
  7. pics of teh functional lights!!!!NOW!!!! Find some ricer punk to sell pretty colors lights to.
  8. not really, you can but it gets messy.instead go to the junkyard and pull of a 32/36 weber carb with electric choke.you will need an adapter for aircleaner and so it can mount to the manifold but its 100% worth it.more power, better economy if you keep your foot out of it.and it gets rid of those emissions junk.
  9. Why would you put lights under your bumper?might get smashed off.BTW those really do jack.they light up the road so it looks like a constant oil patch(pretty colors)
  10. fixed the cable and it sounds awesome.idles a bit high 1500(cold) 3000(hot) however all of this was done to fix the issue I had(really underpowered) now it blows so much brown foam its unreal(comes out of right head breather) apparently there was so much pressure in the oil it blew the oil fill cover off. definatly 100% headgasket failure. In deed putting water in the radiator when hot=steam out of right head breather(right as in passenger side head) damn damn damn damn...
  11. I connected my weber up,I blocked most of the lines that went to the craptachi.I still need to block the lines on the manifold but when I go to start it its like the throttle sticks in full throttle. *start* instantly reves to redline. what can I do to get a little more length in the cable so it doesnt think Im flooring it.If it would idle I would just about be done.please help. edit:Car is a 1984 brat, adapter is from weber-redline(hehe)
  12. even the brats?why not make the wheels further from the body?
  13. looks old,so maybe rare. But what do I know, I use a screwdriver to start my brat.
  14. hood louvers,When your radiator will not do the the job!But what of water crossings?does water spray through hood?
  15. um do people offroad Xt6's or do they just drift/race them?
  16. so to get a little extra length in the cable detach it from the firewall and get a clip to hold the cable 1/2" away from the firewall for more line right?
  17. Im so close to installing my weber I can taste it!!!im having some issues with the throttle cable being a little to short and the opening on the circular thinge on the throttle cable being to small(mounts to carb, connected to cable) I'll file it so it fits.. now for the getto bit. Im far to cheap to pay for the $270 snorkel top for the weber so I got myself an old gallon sized tin can.I have tin snips and a 2 1/4" hole saw in the garrage.I figure I can cut the can so it will bolt up to weber then drill a hole for 2 1/4" pvc tubing.all sealed up with silicone!!!! so is that getto or has someone done better? edit:it is not done yet.I have to fix above mentioned issues.. btw is ok to have a cone filter on the end of snorkel(near the roofline) if not I could stick another can on it to make a hoddie!
  18. its been around, but its still a cool vid
  19. I belive that car can light up the world,or an airport.
  20. the brat is the wrong color, needs to be silver or black and coated in mud:banana:

    twin A arm?

how hard would be to ditch the strut setup and run a true twin A arm setup?Im thinking twin A arms because just about no matter how high you jack the car up it doesnt have camber issues(assuming A arms are equal length).Granted the CV's might not like it but couldnt the shaft be lengthed and flexible CV/DOJ's be put in?sence you could jack the body away from the suspension with out terribly effecting camber you could have a ton of cleanance under the front skidplate and rear diff.hmm food for thought.then you could run heim joints for super flex/travel:lol: I suppose porsh 930 CV's could be adapted to fit.suspension height on our subies would rock offroad....
  22. yep im doing that with some beeftastic snow tires.15X7 chrome chebbies rock on:headbang:
