I don't like body lifts on framed vehicles.I have always felt its like putting the body on stilts. So I go suspension lift or cut/reweld the perches higher.

Hey, I'm planning on making the long trip out there from Lewiston its a six and a half hour drive so I was planning on leaving on Thursday around noon and getting up there around six or seven. I was just wondering if I could could crash at anybodies house for the evening? Also I will be trailering my subaru so that's another consideration. As far as the actual ORV park does it cost anything to get in other than the washington discover pass? Also once up there will we be returning to a central campground/staging area in the evenings?Trying to see if I should bring a tent or just sleep under the canopy on my truck. Is there a head count on who's gonna be up there? Looking forward to this!

Are you guys using 3/16" punches?I have never had that problem using the correct size punch. -
surely someone has had that little thing leak on them before.I just need to know if I can replace it with a new fitting or if I have to get a new fuel pump.

I want an abandoned runway to test out my car's acceleration and top speed. -
I have an SPFI fuel pump from an EA subaru powered my ej22 powered offroader.I just found out that the little damper or regulator that is attached to the unit is leaking fuel.Is there anyway to just replace that with a 90* fitting and have no ill affects?

My offroader is ready to go unless something changes I will be making a trip out that way.

so I looked at my manual and BW goes to the charge light, the other side goes to fuse 15 on the legacy panel. The yellow wire from the alt goes directly to fuse 5 on the legacy panel. Also the actual diagram of where stuff goes says the BW gets power from ignition acc position, and the yellow wire gets power from ignition IG position. So what wire is hooked up where?

A subaru with some 27" tires and some good skidplates would probably do all that pretty good.Dont worry so much about the unibody.Ive flexed mine to the point where a tire was 3 feet off the ground and all the doors still opened and closed perfectly. it should also more stable on those high speed runs because of its low center of gravity and independent suspension. FYI many of the older 80's subarus came with a dual range 4x4 transmission so I am not sure what your saying about needing a transmission swap.

for what sort of offroading?

could always get it as tight as you can,put a breaker bar on it and set it against one of the framerails so if you bump the starter it will tighten it alittle more.then again you might have to do the reverse of that to loose the bolt afterwards. -

Ive had good luck with a GOOD punch, screwdriver, or allen key in the hole. -
does anyone know what the case size of the maxima alt is?I have an ej22 and I am looking for a bigger alt.I tried test fitting a EA series alt on the ej and it wouldnt fit because the case is bigger on the EA alts, even though they have the same bolt pattern for mounting. it would be great if there was a junk yard option for a 100+ amp alt for EJ's.

but they have better traction, judging from the vidoes you had all the power in the world just not alot of traction.

a 200 mile EA82T is a VERY Nice and Shiny boat anchor. But if you insist, crank it up to 160 hp and see how long it lives.Im betting somewhere south of 3 months.
