What would be a ballpark cost on doing these with decent parts?

Im going to check the motor mounts,as it seems Im having a problem keeping the exhaust manifold gaskets from blowing out.Ive read it helps to soak the gaskets in water first(the paper kind)is this true?

Is there 1 or 2 tranny mounts on these?

in my 89 GL D/R 5 speed,especialy during shifts. Worse when you lug it....both shifter and d/r lever..thinking its a tranny mount..any good ideas floating around on these as were to get or ez fix?

Decided to wire up the 89 GL for trailer lights. I guess Im in need of a 3 to 2 wire converter..is that correct? Any good places to get them?

I dont plan on anything heavy. Just wanted something to use with my utility trailer.I doubt i will bother putting a light plug on it for highway use. Time will tell!

Pretty simple really. Just used U-bolts through the bumper,and its bolted to the trunk pan in 2 places.

Had the day off with the big storm in Buffalo,so i made this today. Had the materials laying around.It should work fine for the small 4 x 8 utility trailer I tow 2 times a year.

Well i did a search and it looks like I found my answer..looks to be an isolator..and Im about to remove it.

Can someone tell me whats leaking here? And can i remove it?1989 gl 1.8 F.I. nonturbo..its right out of the fuel pump.

for my 89 gl. Just bought a very small coleman pop-up(its just a tent on wheels,around 750#),and i need to be able to tow it about 3 times a year short distances. Did a search on the board and came up with a few ideas,but the info was dated. Wanted to see if there are any more ideas out there,or if someone is trying to get rid of a hitch..thanks!

Anyone have a place online that they had a good experience with?

Thinking off pulling out of my engine on my 89 gl. It only has 72,500 on it,and I want to do a complete gasket job on it as it has a few leaks,and I want this thing to last. Is this a tough job? Do you take out the motor and tranny(5 speed) a 1 or seperate? Ive done a few v-8's,but never a Subaru..any good tips?

on my 89 GL. Its stuck on heat,but I want to be able to switch to defrost,bilevel,etc....fan works fine. Is this a vacum operated deal? Where is the best place to start troubleshooting? thanks!
