Idk, I would ask michael about it. I was looking into/thinking about doing a 1-2inch drop of the rear sub frame to get it to "look" right. But I'm beginning to like it just the way it is. here's a shot from the other side where I've done some trimming on the rear fender.

yeah, I have to prop my garage door up extra high as is to get it in and out.
-
Took it out for a spin. to "get the codes" its throwing ended up with P0183 FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT P0463 FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT P0446 EVAP SYSTEM VENT CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW INPUT P1507 IDLE CONTROL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION (FAIL-SAFE)

yeah sorry Mike = michael appel. Thats a 4" lift with 225/70R14's. I haven't gotten to drive it that much, I'm still finishing up my swap but the rear end seems to squat pushing the tire away from that fender, thats also the side I DIDN'T cut anything on. yet:rolleyes:

This is my rig, with Mikes radius rods. If you do buy/make some I highly HIGHLY recommend installing them when you are installing your lift blocks. I pretty much had to drop 6 of my lift blocks to get my arms to bolt up.

So here is kind of a brakedown of what wires I hooked up to what. I have that full ECU pinout if anyone wants it. Its for 2001 EJ22's with a MAP sensor.

in other news, it runs. quite well I might had for not having the o2's hooked up and having a vac leak or two. Idles right around 2k hopefully that will be fix with the o2 and the vac lines. http://www.facebook.com/v/847877784233 I think there might be some profanity in the music I had playing when I recorded that so probably best not to blast it at work. just FIY.

I kept the OBDII test plug. and all the jumpers better safe then sorry on those things. are you talking about the schematic in the EA2EJ swap guide? its WAY off with the OBDII stuff there isn't a SMJ so you don't need to worry about that. I'm just about done working on it for the day I'll try and get my own diagram drawn up of what "different".
-
haha I'll try it runs "okay" right now for nothing have either o2 sensors plugged in and a few vac leaks. Its going in for an exhaust on friday so i'll see where its at after that. Idles at a nice 2k and I'm deaf for a good 5 minutes after revving it to 5k while in my garage.

Yeah, it still runs so it makes me feel kinda bad. Cannibalizing it for parts. But you gotta do what you gota do.
-
PM sent! oh btw it runs!! I'll try and get some of the particulars of the OBDII part of the swap posted up here.

I know I know i need new tires...
-
I got 26 miles out of my EA82T @ 12 PSI.
-
I'm literally mid 6 lug swap, I can post you up some pictures tomorrow AM when I go to put the rest of em on.
-
Yeah, its something I'll have to keep an eye on but for right now it provides much better flow then having three 90° bends in my hoses.
-
Plenty of room for moar tire. "making" the EJ radiator fit.

go go gadget pic update... rut ro, my jackstands are to short?

IF you pull the engine off the x-member using a hoist or whatever when doing the x-member blocks (which made it a lot easier, at least for me) make sure you bolt it back on before you drop the transmission x-member. I forgot to and it was a big pain in the rump roast.
-
Yep, and some to spare. I did the same with my 4 inch lift.
-
Sweet! Know anywhere/anyone I could pick up a EA82 FI fuel pump while I'm down there? I'm having a heck of a time tracking one down up here.
-
sweet, you need the cash up front? payday is Thursday (Feb 17th) but my next day off when I could come pick it up isn't until Saturday (Feb 19th). Any chance you can have one ready?
-
Oh oh oh me! how much for a 4 inch EA82 lift with steering extension shipped to 98596? vs how much if I come get it I guess your only an hour and a half south of me.
-
Any chance I can get you to post more info on the springs/struts? I'm considering doing the accord ones but I've heard they are too stiff.
