  1. I have a different supplier that may have a different adapter. I will email him tommorrow and see what he says.
  2. Currently, the adapter is the Redline one. There are two different adapters. We put our own kit together. It has no instructions. We can supply a 1 3/4" filter or a 2 1/2" filter. We can supply carburetors separately. We can supply 32/36 DGV Manual Choke, or 32/36 DGEV Electric choke. You can mix and match, buy whatever you want. I will give you a good price. If you want to email me or call me at work, we can talk. Subaru has not been that popular for us for supplying Webers. We do a lot of Mazda, Toyota, Suzuki and BMW. In these parts, people drive Subaru for one reason. They cost very little to run.
  3. I know a lot of you want to have a Weber Carburetor on your Subaru. Our company would like to offer an ongoing price for our members. I have got a better price from my suppliers and we want to offer it to you guys. To get this price, you have to phone and ask for me, Jim - 604-879-6288. You have to say you are from the Subaru site. Payment would be by Visa Mastercard or American Express. We have a US Visa machine, so your amount would be exactly as on your statement. For Mastercard or Amex you would be charged in Canadian funds and the conversion would be on your Statement. If you have any questions, please call or email me. Here is the deal. Weber 32/36 DGEV electric choke carburetor Adaptor plate (2 different ones) KN copy air filter Universal Cable Linkage kit This kit does not come with instructions, but it is straight forward for installation. You have to check your local rules for putting this carburetor on. A lot of the pollution control will have to be modified or gotten rid of. The carb will be jetted with appropriate jets for your application, float level checked. The price..... $335 US including shipping to anywhere in the US $446 Canadian + Taxes (GST and PST if you are in BC) including shipping in Canada
  4. does this car have some sort of center differential? The reason why I ask, is that I have driven an older Pathfinder and when you have 4wd engaged and you do a U turn, the truck would jump up and down and make a lot of nasties. The Subaru doesnt do this
  5. So, how do i get 4wd to engage? I see that i can do it, by going around a corner hard and make the inside tire on the front spin. But how about having it more often. The car says "full time four wheel drive" on the back. Also, i am looking for the book that came with the car.
  6. The Haynes manual is useless. I would like to know if there is any exploded views of the transfer case/auto trans online or here in this site. Can anyone help?
  7. yes thanks, the power light comes on at certain times on hard acceration. the car is a 4 spd auto. I have another question. When i accelerate out of corner, the inside front wheel starts to spin and then there is a big jerk and the car feels more solid. Is something happening in the rear drive line as well?
  8. On my 88 GL10 turbo car, there is a "turbo" light, and i guess that comes on when there is a certain amount of boost. But there is another light that sometimes, but not always comes on that says "Power". What does the power light indicate?
  9. I see that a lot of you want or have Weber carbs. I can help with supply of new parts and tech info. I will be checking the price tommorrow of the adaptors. Carbs cost $200 US for 32/36 DGEV. I think I can do a group buy for about $300 US for the whole kit.
  10. So, I am new to Subarus. I am an expert at Datsuns and Weber Carbs. So, my question is, can a person bolt in a newer Subie motor into an old car ie 2.5 motor from later Impreza into EA motored cars
  11. I have finally got this 88 GL10 AWD turbo automatic going. It has 291,000km on it and I have no history on this car. Is there a differential in the transfer case? How do you make the rear drive work? This car appears to lack power in Drive, so I drive it 3. It doesnt use water and doesnt appear to use much oil. The height adjustable suspension was replaced by someone before me and now the car looks like a 69 Chevelle with its back end in the air.
