I Really Need Bigger Rims 13's Don't Cut It
testy replied to soobmater's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
$25 each for steels up here in Canada if you know where to get em. Comes with lugs. -
definattly a bottom job.

Would it be easier to install a D/R before or after lifting?
-
Well I'll probably choose the SJR lift since Ozified isnt doing them right now according to their website. And the AA lifts have caused a few problems for people on the board. And I think SJR is based closest to Vancouver.
-
Just wondering how the install went and if there were any problems with the kit. I really dig how much detail is put into the parts with all the emblems embedded in the peices. Thanks.

The Reason I drive a Subaru. Because I do stupid things. And everytime I do a stupid thing I always say I wish I didn't just do that. And everytime I say I wish I didn't do that, the Suby starts right back up and seems to mock me for doubting its "ness". Its just that, Subaru"ness". All subarus have it, this "ness", its just better is all.

Subaru 4wd mini van taxi in Vanuatu
testy replied to suburpy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I see at least five micro van, 4wd, lifted everytime I leave my house. Mostly Mistubishi though. I think our importing rules are a little more relaxed in Canada. Im importing a JDM 1993 Imp WRX in november. -

A fair number of those out here. Whistler Ski Resort uses them as their maintence vehicles. Highly practical for that application. They still dont really compare at all to the competition though, Mitsubishi Delicas are far superior.... No matter how it it pains me to say. -
Cool. The nissan MAF adapter, is it the large piece of alluminum? I just dont like the Suby MAF because if funnels the air down to a hole the size of a Twoonie. Maybe the nissam MAF would be bigger, who knows.

It is SPFI. Can't I just trick it to so it thinks things are all good? Or somehow put the sensor in a different tube? Reason is I want the filter right ontop of my intake. The rubber boot is so soft that it closes when i hit the gas.
-
Ive searched and all I get are jumbled ramblings by Bgd73.
-
How exactly do I bypass the MAF in my car to add a different intake so It doesnt stall right when its started.
-
Then u would be able to increase your post count.
-
Come november the car will be just a toy anyway.

Anyone ever cut the back half of a loyale off and install a roll bar and canvas top like broncos and 4 runners?
-
Ive got no keys and the keys for the VIN arent the right ones so the ignition must have been changed. How do I hotwire my 93 Loyale? Thanks alot. Car is comletely gutted so I dont mind wrecking stuff.

Im looking for a photo or two of the underside of a ea82 with the front axles removed and set up for rwd. More or less I want to see what part of the axle was put back in. My terms arent great so I dont really understand when its explained to me. Thanks.

Coolant issue is fixed, was a pin hole leak just before the clamp on the inlet hose to the heater core. Thanks for the solution. Now I must sort out the problem with the 4x4. I check the driveshafts, non are bent or loose. They both spin freely when 4x4 is not engaged and there seems to be no friction from the rear end. It seems the faster I go the rougher the clunk is when disengaging the 4x4.
