  1. I dont think theres enough gain for the price with those things.
  2. you probably wont gain signifacant power unless you change the injectors and edit plug gaps. ps. Hit 115 mph in my 91 Loyale, 5mt.
  3. Well i got a good friend who is a frabricator. He is building a GT 40 from the ground up. And hes got a unimog that hes bought a full ECU for and he hooks up to his laptop and makes instant changes to power ,etc. Its good to here the pre-94 is not speed limited as thats the car im looking to buy.
  4. Is there a speed limiter on the 90-94 Legacy Sport Sedan? The turbocharged model? This is the dream car of mine and im gonna buy one hopefully in a month or so. Thanks.
  5. not mine, but ya. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/subaru/7/81416196-2f9f-48a0-87a8-636cd5c4beb8.htm
  6. mine does that too. So as soon as she starts to stall I rev that sucker up and then its all good.
  7. im gonna have to make a giver video of my sube. But from 75 mph to 110 mph on one of the local highways ahaaha. Slightly downhill, shhh.
  8. look inside the intake hose thingy, might be ************ bouncing around in there. Also the exhaust pipes might be loose of the engine.
  9. since im a newb. Do you happen to have pictures?
  10. Can I remove the A/C compresure ( next to alternator ) ? Is there a shorter belt I can stick in there?
  11. pull the deck from the dash. undo all the speaker wires, leave power, aux power, and ant, maybe amp alone. Direct route new wire (solid as in one peace) and ignore the unrealiable and color varient subaru wires. twist em tight and tape em up good. Its completely possible youve blown the channels by touching wires. Its always nice to start with a new deck. The new Sony Xplode 55wt /channel deck is nice with Aux in and Sub out. Should only run u like $60 down in the states. here is was around 90. my system in my loyale is pretty ghetto but its reliable and works well. No harness, just spliced what i needed (power, ant, aux) and direct wired the rest. Amp under the driver seat to a single 10 behind the passenger seat in a small box. new 6.5 3ways for the front and moved stock 6.5 beaters to the rear (self tapping screws into door frame). Shes loud. Unless you use a sub though, you wont get low sounds from 6.5s expecialy 3 ways. If you want volume go 2 ways at least of custom fit 6x9s.
  12. where in western canada are u located. Ive seen a lifted suby running around coquitlam and another in whistler.
  13. how long u think i can safely drive it? Shes got about 140km trip back to where my local mechanic is.
  14. weird, must have been bypassed by previous owner. maybe he had fuse issues. got it done anyhow:headbang:
  15. Oh god its going down!! Ive known for a while my wheel bearing was heading south on the front driverside. So today I jacked her up to see how much play there was. Not that much so im happy. Anyway, I also notice a bunch of mud all over the inside wheel well and conponentry in the area. Touch it, holy crap its grease. Its everywhere and alot of it. Dont know when this happens but cant be more than a month old since i was under the car a few weeks ago. No visible tears in the outer boot, buts its plastered in grease. Is something catastrophic happening? Im going to take it to a pro to fix, any clue on $$ figures to fix a problem like this? I hate cars.
  16. get a set of quality speakers, but not the best. Amplify them. And amp will make them sound like a deck never could.
  17. Changing my fuel filter. Trying to depressurize the fuel system by pulling the fuel pump fuse and running the engine till it stops. Well it doesnt stop. Ran for 20 minutes sans the fuse. What the hell, can i just disconnect the fuel filter, im a little nervouse since it has like 20psi. And im not sure if its gonna be a constant flow...
  18. does someone have a pic of a rear sway?
