Regular or Premium?
87 will get you by in a pinch if you baby a turbo car. keep your foot in it, and expect knock and maybe some broken rods or pistons.

Worst color?
i am never buying another white car again! hard as hell to keep clean. it looks good for 24 hours after you wash it, and then its filthy again.

ea82 gl10 seat gadgetry?
heh... but seriously though, my gl-10 had the lumbar support. you had 2 positions. painful, and more painful. its like a rod that goes lengthwise that jams into your back when you move the adjustment.

water injection system
water injection is a poor substitute for proper intercooling.

I thought it was a joke this whole time.
someone posted a pic of an RS a few weeks ago. it was a 3 dr coupe. ah, found it. maybe RS was a rarely used package designation until the impreza showed up.

Outback hotness....
nkx replied to WJM's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXyes. he does. search on old school. every other thread on suspension or eeking out horsepower has at least 1 post from will in it. do a bit of research on his background before making assumptions.

t3h hawt interior pics thread
his deck has a tilt feature. lots of your midrange to high end headunits do that now so you can adjust the viewing angle.

custom fenders....
carbon fiber is like fiber glass, but instead of just curing out in the open, it needs to be cured under pressure while heat is applied. raw cf is expensive too. you could probably lay up some pretty healthy fiberglass fenders if you go over it with several layers. plus you can repair it if the damage it suffers isnt too severe. i dont know if the same can be said for cf. i think takes a bit more of a beating than fiberglass, but will pretty much shatter when its pushed over its limits (ever watch an f1 car crash?)

Steering Quickner..RALLY CAR BUILDERS! Anyone ever Installed one!?
you could always try a smaller steering wheel. maybe if youre lucky the manual steering racks are faster. i dont know, im pretty keen on keeping my power steering.

t3h hawt interior pics thread
heres 2 pics after i got my corbeau seats in. since ive finished gutting the car, minus the dash and a little bit of the console. added sliders from non-height adjust seats from a gl to get the seats down a little bit. still need to lower them another inch or two.

Tierod help...please! fixed!!
actually this is incorrect. bending will actually strengthen metal to a point. ever notice if you bend a spoon its always harder to bend it back? now that being said, the metal will also become more brittle, ie: it will tend to shear instead of deform. bending the tie rod back could be used as a quick fix, but i personally would get it replaced as soon as feasibly possible.
