there might be some condensation or other junk inside the housing. a poor ground might dim the lights. -

theres on grounds camping (with shower facilities) also, so finding a motel/hotel isnt a requisite.

i need to get my registrations in soon. im thinking about bringing a keg of nut brown ale if enough of us are going to be thirsty.

turbos are completely different animals that require special attention and care. that being said, a wrx swap would probably be easier (minus the wiring part) than installing a turbo kit on the stock motor, and would prove more reliable.

im thinkin it sounds like cv joint is shot, too.

Nissan 280ZX Turbo Injector Swap *DONE PROOF*
nkx replied to Steveman09's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
sweet. im going to search out some injectors once i get a chance to baseline dyno the buggy. -
i think an ea81 or ea82 wagon with dual range should suit you perfectly. i would think there would be a few cherry examples in your area. i dont think texas has the nasty rust problems some of the other parts of the country does.

what else are you running at the same time? get a good voltmeter, too. -
there isnt squat for aftermarket for these cars, bud. and most of the stuff that is out there is because of people on this forum. as far as getting performance? 1. turbo 2. NOS (which will be closely followed by #3 after you nuke your motor) 3. motor swap do some reasearch on suspension and track down a nice set of 15" peugeot wheels. theyre the only other wheels that use the same 140x4 bolt pattern as our old subies. thats all you really need to make the car look sharp.

if you look close at the back of the throttle body, youll see a flat head screw adjustment for the idle facing up. iirc, if you rotate it clockwise, idle will lower. turn it CCW to raise the idle.
-
i dont know if this will be helpful because im not familiar with the ecu, however on the rest of our subarus the switch is on the ground. power comes from a common lead.

the sport compact show of old pretty much died off after the events of 2003. they held it in harrisburg in 04, and i thought it was pretty good. not nearly as many asshatters. they had a similar show in state college last year but i have no idea what that was like as they hosted it the same weekend the import/kit-car show where i was. this year its the "performance & style" show 2 weekends before this years import/kit-car show. theyre 2 completely different crowds. the craziest youll see is people putting their cars around at night and making a little bit of noise. bring that sti! oh, and on a side note, id like an idea of what kind of beer you folks like. i like my beer dark and thick...

do your injectors have a color designation, will? ive been looking around on ebay and im seeing "blue top" and "black top" (first and second gen dsm injectors). looks like the evo injectors are a brown or red top?
