man, i am NOT on the ball with the meet threads this year.... i guess it doesnt matter much because my sister already suckered me into helping her move that weekend. :-\

i can see the point of writing a letter to carlisle fairgrounds as a means of venting, but i dont see an end result that would leave us satisfied. im certain everyone who was still around for the "fun" still has a bad taste in their mouth from it. if carlisle apologizes and offers some sort of token, i think all who attended would still feel like they have to "behave". you cant have a car meet without a little bit of noise! i think our decision on going back to carlisle should be dependent on whether or not we come up with a better idea. i too, think we should move our gathering somewhere else. preferably onto private property where we can be loud if we want and maybe have a bonfire or camping, etc. finding something suitable is going to be the hard part...

i notice a wobble coming from the power steering pump pulley. im not 100% sure if its the pulley, or the shaft, but im leaning very heavily towards the pulley. looks like it moves about 1/8" from true. would there be any risks with continuing to use this pulley?

im workin on my impreza coupe, putting in new headgaskets and seals and what not. i figured since im already in there, i should replace the clutch. its a 1.8 5mt awd 96 brighton, so do i need to find an ej18 specific clutch and flywheel, or are they somewhat interchangeable? reason being, this is going to be my rallycross car, and i would like a clutch with a little bit more sticking power than oem would offer, even though i dont plan on bumping up the power output (yet).
