if you get an xt with an ea82t, you can bolt a vf11 off of an early legacy turbo, and from there you can bolt on a wrx downpipe. im not sure of all the exact details, because i havent done it yet... will, care to chime in? -

ive got a huge list too, but no specific timeline... -paint rear where rust was repaired -install sti hoodscoop -install wrx intercooler & plumbing -install a new muffler -upgrade suspension -steering rack bushing mod -replace sunroof with steel -replace gl-10 drivers seat bracket with non-height adjust bracket -paint/powdercoat 15" pugs -redo intake tract stuff on the backburner: -rally mudflaps -repaint entire car -redo entire exhaust, turbo back 2.5" -rollbar/cage

the uppipe is the exhaust manifold/header/crossover pipe. this is connected to the turbo. then you have the downpipe which flows exhaust to the cats, then to the muffler.

do all ea82t's have a stock boost controller mounted on the fender? i have a turbo off another ea82t and it just had a line from the compressor that went to the wastegate. -

theres a stock boost controller? i have the plain turboxs boost controller. i hooked mine into the line that goes between the wastegate and some pressure line that came from something mounted on the passenger side fender. works like a charm! -
ah ha! i see youre the only other person who knows how to correctly install a turbocharger. slap it on!

it might be worth it if youre considering buying another subaru and upgrading it. gl-10s already have a lot of goodies from the factory, so you might be saving yourself time and effort. what year is it? check the fenderwells and underbody and exhaust system for rust. depending on the condition, you might justify talking the seller down. -

i think hes trying to say your injectors are still opening the same distance, and staying open for as long as they were before you upped your fuel pressure. youll see more of a performance increase if you install new injectors which are rated to flow more fuel. -

i thought slotted rotors were also supposed to add more 'bite' because the edge of the slot cut into the brakepad, thus increasing braking ability..?
