I used a thin layer of bondo to fill in the "Lion", then painted them silver. Looks pretty good. I want to get some vinyl cut. Either to say Subaru or just the stars... We'll see??

hmmm... I wonder what all they did to get it to 390??? If it is an EG33, I'd love to borrow one to "test" out in the racer -

It is grittier, it tastes bad and it is not nearly as refreshing or inebriating:drunk: Besides... Look at all that turf practice I had down in Cumberland hmmm... to practice.... my yard is not nearly big enough.... good thing Cressona is currently without a police force...

Can I second my vote against?? The worst that can happen if you lose the belt is that the engine cuts out... Now granted this will happen on a 15* night with 20 MPH winds and rain and sleet and snow, but you seem like the adventureous kind of guy... When I change belts on my street SVX I plan to leave the covers off, and I'm debating it for my 97 Leg even though that IS an interference engine :-\
-
The big question is what year is the EJ22? Some are interference and some aren't I think the dividing line was 96? but you should do a search to confirm. If it is an earlier non-interference engine, I say run without the covers and carry a spare with you at all times. Without the covers, the timing belt can be changed in about 10-20 minutes. We run without covers on our race prepared EG33. It makes it quick and easy to confirm timing plus it looks cool  If it is a later interference engine, then the decision becomes more difficult... edit; I just read in your sig that the EJ is coming out of a 92... I say strip them...

The Coupe with power windows that I saw last trip to Harry's was no longer there So I grabbed a regulator out of a Brat. The power window conversion will have to take a back seat for now.
-
The driver's side regulator on my Brat is stripped. I'm gonna run up to Harry's this weekend and find another. I think I remember reading that the regulator out of a hatch will also work? What about out of a coupe? I know the wagon doors are smaller, so I'm guessing the regulator wouldn't fit? If it would fit out of a coupe, what about the power regulator out of a coupe? Last time I was at Harry's I think there were a few there, if they would fit, I'll take a battery and check them out..

How about serving a big plate of Anchovies and some steamed spinach??? :-p Maybe some bad news on the Corn end of things... On my drive down to Lancaster tonight I saw NO corn at any of the stands I'm guessing we're out of corn season. I'll keep my eyes open, but no promises. I'm not sure what time we'll be getting there?? Depends on what all we get done to the new car on Friday, and what we need to get finished on Saturday morning... -

I have a belt sander I can bring along and leave you borrow for a while. I'm not sure if a belt sander is the correct tool for body work??? But, I'll bring it along if you want. -

I'm about 1.5 hours away. Post up some more details when it gets closer. -
Thanks to Ben, Matt, Oliver and especially Melissa for help to get Becca running again. Not sure why the coil died at the same time... but anyway thanks again for all the help.

I added a bike rack to my Brat

With just one in the middle I think both headrests would work normally, but a jump seat passenger may knock their noggin' if the trail gets bumpy. The nice thing about these Rhode Gear mounts is that they can be removed by unscrewing the large yellow knob. -
I uses a piece of angle steel from Lowes. Did some trimming and some drilling and mounted across between the two top mounting points for the headreasts. Attached to this crossbar are a couple of Rhode Gear Pro, Truck Shuttle Bike Mounts that I got off of EBay for about $10 each. The headrests will still go up and down with the cross bar in place, but I would have to unscrew the Bike Mount. On the Crosspost you can see another hole in the middle for a third Bike Mount, but I'm pretty sure that would be too close together for the bike handlebars.
