So Really, how many started a ej swap and never finished it
kiwi subbie replied to bheinen74's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
I started a swap on a old 1991? brumby but never continued on with it. Was going to drop in a EG33. Brumby wasnt a runner. I ended up picking up another project that I really wanted to do more with. So sold the brumby and kept the EG33. -
Ive seen a few pics of a AE86 running a EJ

Most guys ditch the A/C because there is very little room with the EG33 being fitted into the earyer shape legacy/impreza shell. Im guessing there wouldnt be much room aswell in the Forester engine bay?

The 74 sedan thread.....................
kiwi subbie replied to Subafreak's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
For rare shocks I used A gabrial unit. It came off a suzuki 4wd of some sort. It was the only thing that I found close to fit for a replacement on my 1974 1400DL. -
FHI 1965 S102 FUJI RABBIT SCOOTER MODEL: S102 YEAR:1965? ENGINE: 48CC 2 stroke single cylinder GEARBOX: 3 SPEED ELECTRICAL: 12 Volts with electric START ;D A little bit of History.... These where sold here as a Victa Scooter. It was imported into NZ in 1960s by J Cameron Lewis & Co., LTD and made up from CKD units, Reassembled in Chch. They where stored and made up.. Im not sure if this one was imported in 1960 or in a later date? I brought my 1st one a few years ago. This one I got was restored about 12 plus years ago. It still runs and when the weather is good it starts on 1st pop.

Im looking at getting a Subaru Domingo Van but the problem is its missing its alternator. I can not seem to find a replacement at any of the wrecking yards. Its fitted with the 1.2L 3 cylinder engine and is 4WD. Ive got a parts book for both a 87,88 Justy and the Domingo Van and they are look totally different. So does any one know is a Justy one would work? Or if there one off a different make and model that would work? Any help would be great. Thanks

kiwi subbie replied to Lykoi's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
And a very rear JDM 1976ish? 4wd sedan. I enquired alot in the past about a 4wd coupe and there has been nothing in the 1400/1600 coupe line. The earlyest one I know of is the 1982-83ish RX coupe. It mite have been fitted with the running gear out 4wd wagon? One guy did that in aussie back in was it 76 or 79? -

As far as I know the coupe didnt come in 4wd and wasnt a DL? I maybe wrong on that? It could be a GL and front wheel drive -

( not bad when one place said the call out fee was 140 by it self not including parts ) ( A leone one costs $90 by it self. ) Now I just got to reattach every thing Heres some pics This is the old barrel -
