One Week From Today The Caravan Rolls For Seattle!
We are ONE week from rolling our Caravan up to Seattle for drinks Friday PM. Expected arrival at the pub will be 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM for the Caravan. Seattle locals hooking up with us, should plan to be there around the same time. Yes, parking will be a *************** (we all know this). But, the Pub is great space for a big crowd and it will be fun to have this many Suby fools under one roof. 1st choice for parking will be the Pike Market structure(s) or maybe you'll luck out and find the one spot on Market! I think we wear SOMETHING on with Subaru on it (hat, shirt... whatever) or we may never really know who showed up! Map and direction link on original thread.
Breakfast has been confirmed with the owners (they have a lot that will take all of us and the food is great) they will also have extra help on. The gates to 'Subiefest' open at 8:00 AM. The restaurant says to get there between 7-8 AM ~ would love to all roll into Subiefest together and well fed! We could be there for the open gates between 8:30-9:00 AM ready to play. Maps and directions are on the original post!
The official head count thus far:
Caravan = 17 Cars
Pub = 28 Cars
Breakfast = 29 Cars
The only loose end I have, is a meeting ramp in the Portland area to pick up the Portland/Beaverton guys. Would be great if we could have one planned on, or you could use the post of rest stops/exits already posted on RS25, I-Club or Nasoic and just pick one.
woot!!! Can't wait. We need MORE cars!

Anyone else gonna join us for the drive up or one of the 'Meet & Greets'?

Heads-Up Washington: Pick an exit that works for you and PM me where you will meet us at for the drive into Seattle!
Oregon exits coming soon (Eugene & Portland)!

>>> Details on the car show, time attack, drags and rallycross are now on the site. <<<
Thanks man.. I thought the site was down because you didn't pay the rent ~ here I was getting people to drive 7-8 hours and the site was down!
Phew... And now to hear, we even get our tickets we paid for months ago ~ there is a GOD!

A word of warning when coming into BD.
Do the speedlimit!
Its one of the biggest speed traps in east King County:burnout:
Maybe we can build them a new library with the extra revenue from speeding tickets... I love a cause!

Actually, Hood River is only about 10 miles further from me than Seattle. I'm in Nelson, BC.
Actually, it's kinda funny that when I tell people in WA/OR that I'm from BC, they automatically assume I'm from Vancouver area. I'm at the other end of the freakin' province!! It's like Seattle, WA to Coeur D'Alene, ID for distance from me to Vancouver, BC.
Anyways, not sure if i'm going to make it, but we'll see.
Doooooo IT!

PLA-EEZ join us. I am twice the age of the guys I will be traveling with (pretty sure anyway at age 53!).
We are meeting here ~ Time TBD. It depends on what time everyone wants to roll from Oregon. But, 7-8 pm is a pretty safe bet!
There will be another from USMB member joining us from your board as well, on Friday night.
I'll go ahead and list you for Friday PM.
What car are you driving?
Cheers!

I've got about 20+ cars from the other forums (Nasioc/I-Club/RS25.com & now includes USMB!) joining up Friday night (after our caravan arrives) for some 'pub crawling'. Then Saturday morning for breakfast out near the Subiefest site.
So, join us for the drive (leaving Southern Oregon in the AM Friday the 17th). Anyone who wants to hook up with us for the drive from down south can join us before we roll from Medford (we will be collecting cars along the way). Or, just drop in Seattle for drinks Friday PM or breakfast Saturday AM.
List of people going and meeting places for Friday & Saturday are posted up. Just jump here for more details and list of people attending:

"Be aware that the paint not covered from the pin stripe has probably faded, and you will likely be able to see where the pin stripe went."
What he ^^^ said! You can always replace it with new if the fade is obvious, a steady hand and a good eye and anyone can tape a stripe.
If the pinstripe is paint ~ you can 'color sand' it off... but this is a LONG and TEDIOUS task and not for the faint of heart.

Can't wait. Just found out about this ~ perhaps I do live in a closet!!! Me and the OBS will be there lovin' it!

...either for the Caravan, the Dinner or the Breakfast! We had right near 20 Subies as we pulled into Seattle for drinks/dinner. Breakfast was a hoot with GREAT food and a good turnout. We owned the little road from the Bakery back to Pacific Raceway. For as far as I could see in my rear view, there were Subies with their lights on! Great fun ~ Ready to do it again on April 7th for Subiefest ll. :clap:
