  1. Right now Im still trying to catch up on a couple of other things, but I am still able to do small jobs like hubs and such. Soon though I will be back on the big lifts, so stay tuned -Bill

I do 6-lug hub conversions, till the end of this month its $60 plus $20 shipping, I send you a set of hubs with all new studs pressed in, you send me your old ones back when you get the converted ones. Shoot me a PM if interested with your address, year/model, and if you have rear discs or rear drums. -Bill
  3. Im pretty sure the stock EA82 MAF does not work correctly if it has boost through it, but I could be wrong. Note how the stock MAF is located before the turbo on the stock setup.... -Bill

  7. Wait, the lifted 76 I got from Robbie used to be yours??? You wouldnt happen to still have the title for that, would you? I was planning on parting it cuz I couldnt get the title, but if its got a title, I can resurect that thing and make it better than before... It has some rust issues, and the whole lift will be replaced, but I'd rather keep it on the road than scrap it -Bill
  8. Hmm, keep a fire extinguisher handy.... EA82T with a questionable past, yep sounds real familiar.... But nice score nonetheless, love the coupe bodystyle, and the FT4WD with Diff-lock and rear LSD makes it a blast to drive in all weather and terrain EJ'It!!! -Bill
  9. 6" lift would require the same mods as for the 4", just done to fit the bigger lift. New radiator hoses, new heater hoses, prolly some new vacuum lines, lengthen the steering link, new brake hoses, and modify the shifters and exhaust. I will have pics of how I modified my shifters and steering link soon for the 4" lift. -Bill
  10. Well, I dont have the Hydraulic plate-break running yet, none of the tractors we have are operable right now, and thats the hydraulic supply for the press... I dont have any on the shelf ATM, it will be a month or more before I get back to making Gen 1 stuff... Maybe sooner, depending how things are going. -Bill
  11. 4" lift will be $350, 6" will be $450, Grade 8 USS hardware included, you will have to source 2 M12x1.25x30mm metric bolts to replace the 2 long bolts that hold up the front of the rear diff, but all the other stock bolts can be re-used. Shipping on the 6" kit is $70, I havent gotten a quote on a 6" yet. -Bill

  13. Use the Search function dude, everything you ask about EJ swaps and EA82 Turbos has been covered hundreds of times, usually on a weekly basis. Do some searching and browsing and you will find the answers to every question you have -Bill
  14. You will have to lengthen the radius rods at least 1" to gain anything from this mod other than wider wheel track. EA81 and EA82 radius rods are the same length, and are attached to the control arm in the same location in relation to the pivot point. As Miles stated, the EA82 arms are angled forward, if you want to gain more room for larger tires you want to mount the EA82 arms in the stock EA81 mounts, then cut a notch in them from front to back, then bend them back toward the door until they line up with the front bolt hole on the 1" lengthened radius rod. Put in the front bolt, then either drill out the second one so you can get a bolt in, or just weld it all together. The main thing here is the longer radius rods to push the wheels forward 1", it will give you more clearance for your tires. Then just use EA81 knuckles, but use the inner seal for the EA82 axles (though in my setup, the EA81 seal worked just fine) and use the EA81 struts. You might have to make new, straight-cut lift blocks or you will have massive negative camber. Also do not forget to lengthen the tie-rods, the EA82 control arms are 1.5" longer than EA81 arms, but the tie rods will only need to be lengthened 1" to work correctly. -Bill

  16. If youre still running the stock EA82, I would bring a pair of good timing belts and some extra good tensioners. And a disty. And an Alternator. And a coil, fuses, and fusible links. And jumper cables. Also never hurts to have a spare front and rear axle, and a madatory flashlight, because anything that can go wrong will, in the dark -Bill
  17. If you don't have to pass emissions inspections, I recomend you ditch the stock carb and get a weber. You can get the whole kit with a brand new carb on eBay for under $350. Weber carbs are much more reliable and a simpler design than the hitachis and will save you a lot of headaches. -Bill
  18. 2" lift with body blocks would require shifter and steering mods, hence why it would be easiest to just wait and do the full 6", so you only have to modify everyhing once. Thanks for the free plug btw -Bill
  19. 2" front lift on gen 2's make short work of axles, mine ate both front axles 2 weeks after I installed it. I'd just do it right the first time, it's cheaper that way -Bill
  20. I am in desperate need of EA81 and EA82 rear drums, both are interchangeable though, but I dont have any extras, and it has become increasingly hard to find them at Junkyards in my area. If anyone has any I could sure use some If downtime is not an issue, one option is to send me the hubs that are on the car, and i will convert them and ship them back for the same price. Typically they will be done and re-shipped within 3 days of me recieving them. -Bill

  24. +1 add pics, sound like EA71 heads, but impossible to tell really without pics. In 76 the 1400 single port exhaust engine was available as well as the 1600, assuming the heads even came from the Subaru you think they did. -Bill
