  1. my 87 rx turbo won't stay running unless I use jump cables. When jump starting it, the car starts and runs, as soon as I disconnect one of the cables, neg, or pos, from the battery, the car dies immediately. I just had my alternator tested at schucks, and it passed. The battery is good, I tested it on my other car. anyone know why its not charging my battery???
  2. No, and I have no idea how to do that. I guess I need some help.
  3. Yep. Rotated the crank 360 deg and lined up with the marks on the flywheel
  4. I got the same problem only mine is on the left. Just put in a used engine and lined up both timing belts correctly, but only right side works.
  5. Thanks for the help. Thats the info I've been looking for.
  6. No, EA82 was in there when I bought the car. After about a month of driving it, the engine developed a really bad rod knock.
  7. So I'm planning on replacing my engines, but not sure if it'll work. My 87 Subaru RX is 1.8L Turbo that currently has an engine that is EA82, which is blown. I wan't to put an engine in there that is EA82T. I have no idea how different these engines are, if anyone know, please help.
