i love the shape of that car! :-p -
that is it.. the atf act with dirt to make crystals that can scratch the surfaces, but the more risky is the oil pump becuase the way it presurises oil, atf does not dissolve dirt as the engine oil detergents do

we have two, the loyale is still running but the rex is retired becuase damaged engine and breaks, and other small things but we are trying to fix it.. -
dad says it kill the oil pump

i sugest to forget the automatic and search for manual, it is bettter

dad says that gearing down at high rpm can make the rings of the pistons to wear faster, very faster -
yes, cars with manual gearbox makes better mileage and can perform better too

you can repair the car, but the important here is that you did not received any hurt -
you shoulda know our roads something similar did hapen to our loyale, it was just the positive ventilation valvle (PCV) on the intake manifull.. it happens becuase the car position and the bad valvle

thank you for your replies, i know the sherpa, here came as a 4x4 version of the rex.. instead of searching in internet, dad is searching for a nice donor car to swap some parts.. he also thinks that he could (maybe) swap engine an trasmission with another brand, i am pretty scared about that..... i will write back here with the results of the "REX QUEST"

is no the same justy, becuase justy is bigger and has 3 cylinder, the Rex is smaller and only has 2 cylinder my rex is in pieces, because it was originally from a dad´s client at his mechanic repair shop.. the past owner could not find some parts to repair the engine, and then time passed by. dad did buy it for me, becuase i like that tiny beautiful car, and in the family is another subaru, and i wanted that small one for me when i go to the university, but it still may take some time to happen. any info i will post here. thanks..
