  5. A factory roll bar should bolt to the holes that mount the rear seat belts in 85 brats because thay came with seats, 86 and 87 did not so they mingt not have the seat belt holes for the bolts ..........double check the year of your brat.....
  6. The silver ones you are seeing are off wagons and hatches because the Brat doors were all metal color matching doors, and they are a hard find, so they get replaced with the chrome look.......

  11. Im guessing your neighbors were tired of looking at them, but there not gonna tell you that........This is Brett with the Lime green Brat you flagged down in Spokane 4 years ago to take picture........Your were from Thorton.... Pop 200 Maybe?? Only one in the town with Subarus!
  12. just looked at the one in my garage and by god I see the bolt holes but ive never used them, must be another cross bar that's goes with the guard but ive never seen one..........
  13. Yes, sits on chrome cross member, the brushguard bolts to NOTHING its sits on the crossmember and by twisting the bumper and the guard together (Tight fit) but that's what you want, cause that is all that keeps the guard on the tops support......
  14. O k here you go, ive owned 3 of these, first you need to take the 4 bumper bolts out to move the bumper forward to where its dangling or you can take the wires of the lights and drop it all, you have to tip the bumper over at a 45 angle and and twist the guard on(kinda awkward to do alone, the other thing is to take the bottom chrome bar off the bottom front of the brat is where the guard sets in the groves(if the bar happens to NOT be on your brat, this will not work cause that bar is your means off support....You have to have!!!!
