  1. directionals i think they are called there are a few different kinds nice coupe here is mine i did the 2.2 swap sooo much power for so little car some mods shaved side markers "big thanks to BILL the (beastidrive)" dodge ram style grill "also thanks to bill" 2.2 swap from spfi ea82 3.7 5 speed 4x4 from auto 2wd its an 89

  3. ok so had an idea and went to bills (thebeastidrive) and well he did this and its sweet so you should comment on the shaved goodness oh and the dodge ram style grill the man works a wire feed like magic

  8. heres my newest ea82 its a 1989 DL coupe started out ea82 FWD auto now its 5 speed S/R 3.7 with a 2.2 legacy engine
  9. yeah 02 is intact im thinking it might be a fuel dilivery problem might need a regulator?

  11. seems to hickup a little bit when reved quick i think it might be the exhaust its got a y pipe back to just past the cat then nothing its getting new exhaust in a few days i was just wondering thanks Rob. engine is a 2.2 legacy duel port 1990

  15. im not shure it was in a subaru legacy ls station wagon its not factory the vin plate says it should be a 2.2
  16. ok so i came across an ej2.0 notices it said EJ20 when was pulling from a wrecked legacy so i put it in my legacy it runs good leaks oil from tyhe vlave covers but overall is a great engine so im thinking of using it in my coupe in place of the 2.2 aside from the CCs are there any prose to have the 2.0 over the 2.2 let me know thanks guys

  19. sorry about the sound i hadnt gotten the exhaust on it yet here are my wheels i know they are ea81 style but they fit over my calipers and i like the curve.
  20. true but my first time i pulled a suby engine i removed the disty along with the starter was easyer for me to get my big hands down to the lower bell housing bolts. Rob.
  21. if the trans is a 3.9 the axles will work from your car so you can use it in ur car the 3.7 wont work it has 25 spline you have 23 spline you will need a 5 speed conversion kit from bratsrus1 and i would use the rear diff aswell so you know you have the same ratio in the front and rear. as for the power steering it can be used but you will need to make your own brake and its really not worth it. same with the AC anyhting els on the motor is usless to you the turbo ea82 is dule port intake so it wont bolt to ur engine and its MPFI so not really any fuel parts will work.
  22. ok so after the last few days i was about ready to throw in the towel on my 89 coupe but with some help from subardave,numbchux,bratsrus1 and shawnW it now RUNS !!!! the coil was nolt getting any power fixed that and with a bump of the starter my 89 coupe has EJ power :banana: here is a short clip more to come when its driving. thanks again to Subardave,bratsrus1,shawnW and numbchux Rob.
  23. hey so i have my engine in 1990 legacy 2.2 its in a 1989 coupe and my harness is a direct copy of one bratsrus1 has that was made by ShawnW. i have my harness hooked up and i can crank my engine it gets fuel and the injectors ar clicking (also tested with a light) but im not getting any spark i tested all 3 wires going to the coil and none have any juice not with the key on or cranking. i replaced the coil pack the crank angle senser and the igniter and still nothing the ECU threw a mad AFM code but i replaced that and now ther are no codes so if anyone who has done the 2.2 conversion coulde give me some help it would be AWSOME to get this puppy running thanks again Rob.
