  1. bumper i guess is lagit but the mud flap thing is so FKNG supid if i was to have flaps that arnt on my bumper (like in the stock location) thay would be 3 inches long cause thats aobut how far my car sets above the mid tire range as for fender flares your tires should be alowed 3 inches mine only stick out 1/2 to 1 inch and i got sited for it wongleflute cops!
  2. coolio were rollin now remember half of what comes in will be donated back to the board so 10 calenders is 50 bucks to the board 20 calenders is 100 to the board ect. get your orders in soon.
  3. thats a first "removing the engine to change the timing belts" just pull the rad pull the covers pull the belts replace them then replace the covers and rad.

  5. so any one want one ?? they will be bound
  6. i had the same thing happen on my ea82 i know its a different engine but this aplys here i had to get to class and all the water in my engine froze so i just unhooked the waterpump belt (i know big no no) but useda smaller belt to run everything els it got warmed up and thawed the water in the block and the rad. might work for you too but be careful.
  7. ok so after much hassle i have started now here is what they will look like just a simple calender here are all the months and the exact way it will look. let me know if you want one or how many you want and youre adress. im taking orders untill friday thats one week and the last chance to get in on it.
  8. well my first soob died due to alot of mud in the engine just seized up and i had never worked on a suabru so i just got another and let it go to the JY i really missthat car. here it is on my first wheeling trip.
  9. i know that using your garden hose probly isnt an option this time of year but mine had enough pressure to unclog my heater core. I just unhooked both hoses and got an adapter to conect the garden hose to one of the heater core hoses (i swaped it back and forth to both hoses) but scince it was fastend with no leaks it blew what ever was in there out. justa thought but w/e. Rob
  10. yeah flush the heater core out my 1980 wagon did the same thing
  11. i think the plastic peice would crack with the constant shutting of the hatch. IMO i thing usinga thicker peice of plexi would bea good idea just cut it to size or put it behind the original peice. idk i have toyed with the idea but again would want it to be just right.
  12. thats just for isulation i welded it and braced it befor foaming. also its to keep noise down. its still not done its all gona get covered and the back wall is gonna have carpit on it. the bed is also getting pached and the open spaces are getting foamed to keep road noise down its my baby dont be haten. rob
  13. heres what i am working on its the second subaru i ever owned and i love it like family. inside, backwall (used to be the hatch) its the first car i ever did serious body mod to. i think it looks really goo i just started on making the rear part of the bed (tail gate area)
  14. hey scott found this thread read every page man that was neat how it came to geather we really need to go wheeling.
  15. wow i was just making a joke didnt meen to start a flame war. i started to read the first few pages and i wouldent pay 100 bucks for a cat on a car that gose offroad mostly becasue the car cost me 200 in the first place. i just dont like a bunch of junk on my car. i like them simple (sorry i you think a cat isnt junk) but in my opinion its just something i dont feel a need for on my car. if you can afford a cat and if you have emissions wher you live do what you have to but i havea high suspition for as long as i have my car it will NEVER see an emissions test. anyways thats just me do what you like and do what you can afford. im not trying to burn anyone we are all intitled to our opinions. have a good day and sorry for what i caused Rob
  16. well good news i should start them tomorow got alot of things going on but im gonna get theas going. again sorry for the wait. Rob
  17. i was thinking the same thing ?? you must be good if you can change a timing belt on an ea81.
  18. well my guess is you have an open diff and the wheel on the passenger side broke loose thus makeing the drivers wheel stay. am i right.
  19. i know what a cat is and i know about the way it works but im sorry on my cars it comes off.
  20. hey welcome there are alot of nice people here and lotts more nice and not so nice cars but we love them all. hers a tast of what you will see here this is my project/winter car.
  21. for the hatch (#2) check the thermostat if it isnt opening all the way it wont let the proper amount of water through. same with a cloged rad. eather can cause this slight overheating problem. IMO just remove the thermostat use some good flush then drain put a new thermostat in and fill with antifreez thats what i do and mine works fine. as for the wagon check the oil on the dipstick not the lid my ea82 x cab has little drops almost every time i change the oil.
  22. a cat ? isnt that the thing you have to remove so you can get more horspower ? lol
