  1. Put it in 4wd and try to move it if it moves you lost a front axle. Another way is to put it in gear apply e break with engine running get out and look at both front axles FROM UNDER THE HOOD DO NOT LOOK UNDER THE CAR woulnt wnat it to catch and run you over anyways the broken one will be spinning. happened to me twice on my old ea81 and with the lift that is on that coupe i bet you lost an axle. Cheers R.
  2. looks fine from the out side lol and has a gas cap on it so i assume pretty clean inside.

  3. take it to a shop... trust me such a pain to get it all out glass everywhere Cheers R.
  4. Best thing would be to find a car of the same year any model GL10 i assume it is ea82 i didn't know they made the GL10 in a FWD anyways years 1985-93 of the body style will work for your running gear needs. wagon coupe or sedan they all use the same floor pan so all the running gear will work. Lift kits there are a few people on here that make them a 3 inch should be no problem and you can depending on your skill level make a simple 3 inch at home. The search function here is a wonderful option and many answers can be had by using it. Cheers R.
  5. groovy she is sitting n a box awaiting shipment.

  6. the kit allows you to put the 5 speed in an ea81 car and keep the interior looking stock with the 4wd shifter and console so its not all frankenstined together. very worth it i used it in my old hatch. Cheers R.
  7. with skill and fiberglass anything can fit. Cheers R.
  8. went and test fit the BMC and it fits in the stock location perfect it is tight but the turbo wont touch it Cheers R.
  9. i would source an easy out set and a battery powered drill thats your best bet. maybe wing by a wrecking yard and get an idler pulley and bolt. Cheers R.

  19. I just hooked it to a power for when the key is cranking and in the on position you don't want power to it all the time or it wont shut off when you turn the key of and if left hooked up with the car off it will burn up the coil pack. I'm not to sure on the gauge wires i cut my harness to just be for the engine and left the stock bulk harness in the car. glad to hear it fired up i was super exited the first time i got mine to fire up. Cheers R.
  20. 148 in my old legacy wagon not stock down hill top gear pushingthe rev limiter. abandoned highway. cheers R.
  21. If you are getting power to the coil you should be getting spark when you crank it unless your engine is not grounded then it wont start. you can always try a jumper wire to the yellow on the coil and crank it to see if it fires. cheers r
  22. I had this same issue with my first EJ swap IIRC there are 3 wires coming from the Coil pack Red,Blue,Yellow the yellow one needs power when the key is cranking and in the on position. I just jumped a hot to it to see if the car would start and sure enough VROOOM then i just ran a wire from the key to the power wire for the coil and it worked fine. Cheers R.
  23. Yes exactly as twitch stated the ea82 have a hollow cam case on each side making it as wide if not wider than the EJ. The SOHC, DOHC EJs are actually close to the same width as the cams sit on top of each other. I was exited to see that it sat as close to where the NA EJ2.2 did so the radiator will fit perfect and after i swap the fuel pump in i am on a fast track to firing this bad boy up Cheers R.
