  1. Hey guys, I just wanted to post a thread introducing myself. I currently own a few cars, I'm looking for a new daily driver and the Subaru seems to fit the bill perfectly. My car stable currently consists of my pride and joy 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, the project to rebuild and sell 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T TT, and the daily drivers: a 1994 Ford Tempo (4cyl Auto) and 1988 Chevy 1500 (v6). I am looking to replace both the truck and the tempo with a nice Subaru, Now, as far as what model... thats where you guys can help me out. I really like the Loyale and Legacy models, but not sure whats best for gas mileage, performance, and reliability. I am intriuged by the RX, b/c (if I understand correctly) this is a turbo model. As you can tell by my other vehicles... I love turbos. I'm glad I found these forums and hope that I can contribute and meet up with you guys in the future, I'd love to own a boosted Subaru of the 80's or 90's. I'd like to keep the price cheap though so I will look to you guys for help on what it is exactly that I want... oh btw a manual is an absolute MUST. Also, though I want this car for daily driving I do plan to auto cross it, so if theres a specific model that may shine it the light weight to power department please point me in that direction too. And since I live in MA... winter can and will be a PITA sometimes so a dependable 4wd subaru is a major plus as well. Anyway, sorry for going on and on, hope to meet up with some of you guys sometime. Thanks! -Matt
  2. Looks nice, whats the full mod list for those of us that don't know this cars history (like myself). Also, how hard is it to find an RX? And what should I expect to pay. Thanks! -Matt
  3. Hey, im a n00b too. I'm in a similar situation, not sure which to get. It will be my daily driver. 4wd is a major plus, how fast (rather slow?) are these cars? Are they both cheap? 5-speed is a must for me. Thanks guys. -Matt
