  1. I just replaced my transmission in my 90 Legacy today. I went to fill it up with ATF and noticed a puddle of fluid on the ground. It was leaking from where the filler pipe enters the tranny. I figured I did not tighten down that one little bolt enough, so I torqued on it and the head broke off. Hum.. so now that I broke the one and only bolt that keeps things from leaking.... how would I fix this? I can't get a drill up in there to drill out the broken bolt. And I'm not about to drop the transmission again. Is there something I can use like JB weld to seal it up? Please help! Thanks, Jeremy:)
  2. I did a search, but to much stuff to mill over right now. Anyone have the answer? I'm pulling a auto tranny out of a 95 legacy and transplanting it into a 90 legacy. The 90 has 4.11 rear end, I just wanted to make sure everything will match up. Thanks, Jeremy

  5. That would be fun to meet up with the Forester owners. I think we need to pick a date here soon so planning can be done.

    My Brat

Nice looking brat! Don't beat it up to bad!
  7. Let me know if you guys plan a meet. I would be willing to come. I'm in Calif at least once a week.
  8. I think I got the crossover at Kragen.
  9. 302k miles on the original water pump is awesome. I just replaced my water pump with a new one from Napa. Cost was $45. So far so good, but I've only put 2000 miles on it. Only thing I noticed is the pulley was just a little bit farther out then the rest of the system. Doesn’t seem to harm anything and my belt is fine. Good luck with the repair. EA81 water pumps are so dang easy to replace.
  10. Sounds fuel related. I can check it out tomorrow when you get off work. Let me know.
  11. Hum.... let see here... you had Snow tires and I had street tires.... doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
  12. Ok, here are some I took... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=832&ppuser=17
  13. I'll get some pictures up when I'm done working today. NVZeno, I'm gonna shoot you a PM.
  14. Jibs originally said the Exxon station at 10a. But we are gonna change it to the Winners Corner station at boardertown in Cold Springs at 10am. Brian just got into town so we will be ready to go bright and early.
  15. We could just go play around in the BLM or parts of Peavine.
  16. The sun is out right now... and all we got was a dusting of snow! Brian I think you will be alright. DarkSTI.. hope to see you Sunday. We are meeting at 10am.... just show up for a few so we meet up and shake hands. Bring a subie so I can get a pic of all of us together for the board.
  17. Well it's snowing again. So looks like we will have to play this by ear. We can still meet up though and play in the snow... Looks like the weather is gonna break on Sunday.
  18. The only thing that kills Legacys is the clearance and lack of D/R. The AWD is great though and makes up for the loss. I know cuz I use to wheel a 91 Legacy.
  19. Ok, I went and scoped out Long Valley for our wheelin trip this Sunday. I did not get very far into the national forest before it was almost impassable. Mud was great but the snow built up fast. Lifted guys will have no problem. I started to scrap my diff in a few spots. It was damn fun though. I could have ventured farther but I was alone with no cell service. Stock legacy no way! Stock ea81 fun fun fun.... lifted no problem if you have tread on your tires and a winch. here are a few pics.... They dont show the worst spots. I cant take pics very well when Im driving!
  20. Not when your stuck in traffic for 4 hours trying to get home on hwy 80.
