um... uh.... ok, I'll keep quiet. But anyway I have AC on my ea81 and none of the parts look interchangeable. Might be more of a nightmare then it's worth. You would be better off going to pnp. But I'm not positive on that one.

Sounds like a beautiful run. I would like to go but it's a bit to far out of the way. That Sunday is too far from my payday and funds will be hard to come by. But anyways have a blast! -

Engine Tap at start and high revs

My 91 Loyale taps when it's low on oil. Or it's over 4000 miles per oil change. -

Friday works for me. Sounds like a trip to the woods would be in order. Last place we wheeled at was out at Doyale Grade, but there was way to much snow to pass at the time.. but the trails look real promising. It's North of us up 395. My hatch needs some work, it's backfiring really bad and I don't wanna light any fires on our trip. So maybe we can meet up in a few weeks. Here are 4 pages of pictures from our last trip up there. Take a look! Pics of Doyale Grade -
How many people have/had DL-5's
subieman replied to Adam N.D.J.'s topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I saw one GL-5 around the Tahoe area quite a few years ago. Kinda blew my mind cuz I've never seen one before. It was a blue ea-81 wagon. I believe it was turbo. I spotted it on the freeway, there wasn’t much time to investigate. -
Relocating to Reno Nevada...
subieman replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Well Brian you wanna move to Reno huh??? It's a nice place to be somewhat. Your close to the mountains, Tahoe, the desert, night life, shopping.. etc. It's all pretty much here. If you like trees, dont move here. If you like shade, dont move here. If you like rain... well don't move here. hehe Our weather is quite different then yours in sac. A bit colder in the winter. It did get down to -4 this year. And we do get some snow. The summers are hot but mild compared to Sac. A few years ago we had a all time record high of 107. Hottest it's ever been. But it's a very dry climate. Housing and apartment costs seem way to high to me. And they keep rising fast. Peoples income and housing prices don't make much sense to me? One bedroom apartments are running around $600-900 a month. Housing $225,000 on average. Yuppie parts of town would be Northwest, and southwest, and south (Galena). Pretty much the outskirts of town. Everywhere else seems to be affordable. Like where I live in the North Valleys. Jobs….. no problem, we have a great economy. Check our local news paper for jobs and housing http://www.rgj.com ( Reno Gazette Journal ) We are the 2nd fastest growing city in the country which makes it kinda unnerving. Every time I see a new housing development it makes me wanna cry. Our streets and highways just can't seem to keep up. Road construction is a never-ending battle. The peoples demeanor is changing also. Northern Nevada is the truck and SUV capital of the country also. Lot's of red necks like to run you off the road. If I could delete the people and the town, I just love the country up here. It's absolutely beautiful sometimes!! I would stay away from Carson City if I were you. They are very protective of there town and don't take to kindly to outsiders. Good luck dude! Oh and watch out for those ea81’s, Reno is at 4500 feet. The altitude likes to suck the life right out of them. -
After driving a 00 2.5 RS, 91-90 Legacy, 87 GL-10, 84 Hatchback and a 91 Loyale.... My favorite in that whole line up would be my 91 Loyale. I'm not sure why but it really grew on me.. And before it got wrecked last week by a sheet of plywood hitting it at 65 mph, I would have never given it up! sniff sniff

Sheet of Plywood hits my soob on the freeway
subieman replied to subieman's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yes I was quite lucky. I took a few hours for me to finally realize I could have been killed. Kinda freaked me out. No comp on my insurance so no money to fix it. $1200 was from an auto body shop, but I'm gonna check out a few more places today. I filed a police report the same day, but I'm not sure what good thats gonna do. All I had was a description of the truck, nothing else. And yes I never realized how crazy Reno drivers are until I moved up here.. ick! -
Minding my own business driving down the freeway yesterday my car encountered a sheet of plywood. It flew out of the back of a ford ranger, lifted up into the air, and decided to crash on top of my car. Shattered glass all over me, dented my hood, roof, bent the pillar, ripped off my trim and yakima roof rack. Not a very nice experience. The bastard never stopped and it was kinda hard to get his license number when your covered with glass. $1200 worth of damage to my 91 Loyale. I'm not even sure it's worth fixing. What a bummer. And boy am I pissed!

Northern Nevada Subaru Meet

Nice score on your touring wagon. Hope you can fix your power problem. Have you checked the air cleaner? It might be a plugged cat, that happened in my hatchback, it won't even climb hills. Replace your cap, plugs and wires. How many miles are on her? -

I'm up for that but it would have to be during a Thursday or Friday. I can request a day off work but it has to be 3 weeks in advance. Plus I need to get my Hatch fixed. The cat plugged up again. :-\ -
Loyale starting problems

Yeah, check that timing belt. -
I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to pick up some front oil seals. I hope they have them in Reno cuz I might have to go for a little test drive. hehe I wanna drive that XT! The PZEV is only robbing 4hp. The auto 2.5 outbacks have always been sluggish. Anyone know what the "I" and "R" stand for on the 05 legacys?

Does anyone know how much one of those wheels weighs? I'm curious on shipping.
