Please tell me to get the heater control to go from mid way setting > to low do I have to ( push ) the fan control all the way aroud > too high then to low this seams odd to me ?

,providing the trans oil is in the box this should be fine out side seals if there look bad change them , if there near heat change them now . auto left laying around some times change odd if the first few feet ,run it change the oil add some aditive to the trans if it has a few Ks ( miles ) to it . neil Perth the land down under

I stayed up late to see if you were here .You did not fill out you home and state ect ,I think you would of got piles of replys any how we use the power steering pump conect it to the auto sump then this can pick up the oil and pass it through a oil cooler up the front on the car . What is the box in the bug ? I think I may of made my mide up you had a auto ( I was ill last night & still am !!! ) I am doing a ej20 turbo in mine with a Renaul R30 5 speed close ratio lsd custom bellhouse ect .. pull it off turn it around its fine ,I have seen other use the power steering pump for a auto pump it works a treat ! to get that oil through a oil cooler .I did this to our V8 toyota race car turn it around ( sorry off track a bit ) the porting ect works fine. like I have said look up a few posts Aussie vee dubbers go to that it will save you heaps of time mate ,you have lots to learn and thats a great start and finish on that board ,see ya seagull ( Neil ) in the land down under were USA send jeeps why ? there no good to us !

I very happy with my H6 in Australia heaps of power great in the wet .Ihave had some power rise as I have changed the air cleaner with a k&N replaceable unit it fit in side the box as the OEM unit ( here same as one of our GMH cars & 1/3 rd the cost . I have from the off road guys that the timing chain is a problem if driven hard all the time .

ok Calebz dont get upset as I tell you what I am doing ,I puting this one in my trike ( bike ) I will email you a photo ,I have adapted this to a vw three speed full auto ,not sure if you get them over there ,any way I am subaru mad and the vw motors dont comply ( soon ) to our ADR rules ,so I wish to put this motor in. I have a number of projects over here in Ausssie land and this is just one of them. I think this motor should be a blast in some thing that weighs 450kg what do you think ? The front cut is from BG5A56E I think you boys call legacies we call them downunder liberties the engine type is EJ20DDAAJE the car was a auto I would like to disconet that .I have every part of the car ECU ect .As far as I can tell the car is Post 93 ,I have looked around perth and not found one the same it must new from Jap ( Current shipment ) OBOII I was told . I am wishing just the motor for now as on the ground then I will swap the motor over ( save time doing the wiring ) ? gee thats a joke ! If you can help that would be great ,I would like to make a stand alone wiring loam. thanks neil

i wish to use the oem origanal ECU how come I can not find it on the web ,there has been lots of hits on my request but no has a diagram !

do they make a duel cab pick up H6 out back ? I have seen one on the web not sure if some ones cut it up that way

what sould I do with mineit has done 83 k how often do they change the oil ? over there it is very clean ( dip stick )

I lost to find a wiring diagram for this unit the ecu has three plugs yellow the air flow has the following white black with red line yellow with green line red with yellow line power tr unit red with green lines blue with silver black yellow with purpel yellow with green any ideas please any other link ! thanks Neil

if they are the oem ones ,i had trouble with them before there god when they are new ,get the worm screw type ! Flush your system clean ( open the heater ) ( turn it on position ) do the timing belt at the same time ! I even added a extra earth lead to the car ,motor to body and use the oem coolant . I never seen in my life 0 deg ,we see + 40 deg HOT on most days !

mate I stood on them some thing was not right the brake fail light came on as well ( forgot that bit it is late over here in Perth ) when I pulled the plug out the car was back to its self again. The abs does this have some thing electrical it has seen with the trailer pluged in .??

I had a problem the other day when I conected the trailer plug to the H6 .when I went down the road then stood on the brakes no ABS ? ( my trailer does not have brakes ) I got out the car disconected the trailer pulg ,whent down the road stood on the brakes and every thing was Ok . very weird ! need to sort the trailer ,may be earth problems ?

The ecu set up is of the OBOII generation can any one help me with this futher infomation please neil

I have a H6 outback in Australia & one of those Jeeps 96 you guys send over here its a ( heap of XXXX) poor in build quality. the quad cam in mating to a vw three speed auto .There are so many wires no short cuts with diagrams ? I hope some one has a easy to follow diagram as I have not done this wiring thing before thanks for the help Neil

In the land down under we get jap import front cuts I have a EJ quad cam normaly asperated Engine type EJ20DDAAJE ,I dont have the auto ( 4X4 ) and have the wiring out of the car .Can any one help me with a wiring diagram for this car ,down under there call LIBERTY"S ? I would not know what they are called in the USA .I have been looking on the web for a easy to follow diagram that shows what to do with disconecting the automatic computer . But no luck so far . aparently there is a speed sencer in the speedo cluster .How do you set that to run with out the auto box ? Thank you Neil Perth Western Australia
