To Loyale 2.7 Turbo: Yours was the first yellow car I ever liked. It suits that car very well. Haven't seen a yellow hatch yet, so I thought I'd try it, lol. And where have you neen so long? I too think bgd has something seriously out of whack...

I've had it last a few days, considering you lost a lot, it will take time to get everything burnt off. Good to hear he's doing better. -

Rguyver had an ea81 Hatch, spfi swap, nitrous, turbo. And an extra injector in place to help. -

In the us market nothing was ever made for these cars. I've rode on cut springs for a while now, i've never had them go squirely with me on any of the cars I've had them one. Heating them would be more likely to do that to you. The good thing about the ea82 rear springs is that pretty much any universal aftermarket coilover kit will fit it. No matter what its made for. -

I see we have another believe of the door jamb weight. Thats gross weight. To get close to actual weight take that number and subtract the max passenger and cargo weight. The ea82 wagon weighs about 2600lbs. -
It looks good. But it also looks to have been repainted. There is a hint of old damage by the d/s tail light. That spot is a normal rust spot on these, nuetralize and repair it before it gets any worse. Also inspect inside all the removable panels inside the bed. If you find anything hidden get it before it takes control.

Hey Bob, Any heads from a carb ea82 motor will fit it. You could use the spfi ea82 heads, but it may cause problems with the egr. I can't recall for sure. -

The ea82t should have a 4eat Computer controlled transmission. At the abolsute least you'd have to do a boat load of wiring to get it to function halfway correct. -

Maybe. I've never seen any test numbers for them. If you could find some old, old magazines from that era it would probably have them in it. When some were posted a while back, they tested an ea81 hatch to a 12 sec 60 and 19 sec 1/4, I figure adding weight and power *might* balance out. -

You'll find the video game numbers are sometimes correct on most cars. But they still shouldn't be taken literal. I would say you're looking at about 12 sec 0-60 and 19 sec 1/4 mile.
